We are pleased to present this very special 1996 Porsche 993 Turbo, one of only 19 3.8L Bi-Turbo conversions reportedly carried out by Andial. One of the most prominent and respected Porsche performance tuners of all time, Anidal was founded in 1975 by Arnold Wagner, Dieter Inzenhofer, and former Porsche Motorsport North America president Alwin Springer. After an illustrious motorsport career, Andial was eventually purchased and absorbed by Porsche in 2013. Beginning with a generously equipped 1996 example, this 993 was brought to Andial by the original owner during the early 2000s to undergo a 3.8L BT conversion including a fully rebuilt and blueprinted engine, 993 RS camshafts, a lightweight flywheel, GT1 turbochargers, an upgraded intercooler, specialized tuning, and a sport exhaust. The result of these modifications was an increase of approximately 200 HP over stock. There have been four owners reported and the current caretaker, a major collector, is said to have purchased the car in 2016. Represented in the official Andial registry and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, this incredibly rare 993 Turbo is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey with approximately 47k miles showing on the odometer.
Externally, the Andial 3.8L BT presents as any other 993 Turbo with its distinctive flared fenders, model-specific bumpers, and body-colored rear spoiler. This example is finished in Black and comes factory equipped with exclusive stainless steel exhaust pipes and 18” Turbo Twist wheels. Some minor road-going wear is noted on the clear protective film covering the front bumper and hood. The seller indicates the car to meter as original paint, with the exception of the front left fender which is believed to have been refinished for cosmetic purposes.
Inside, you will find a well-kept black leather interior with exclusive factory options including stainless steel door entry guards with model logos, aluminum-look instrument dials with chrome bezel rings, an aluminum shift knob, and an aluminum handbrake leather. Other options include supple leather seats front and rear, a power-operated sunroof, cruise control, and a 6-disc CD changer. An aftermarket boost gauge has been added to the left of the ignition and is currently disconnected. All other gauges and accessories are said to be fully functional.
At approximately 30k miles, this 993 was brought to Andial to have the engine fully rebuilt, blueprinted, and upgraded to 3.8L specifications. The conversion included ported and polished heads, a new set of pistons and cylinders, upgraded Carrillo rods, 993 RS camshafts, upgraded GT1 turbochargers, and a GT2 fuel-pressure regulator. Other modifications include an Andial Sport intercooler, an S-Type oil cooler, a Sport exhaust set, and a competition-based ECU. The gaskets, exhaust guides, fluids, filters, and belts were also replaced during this time.
This sale will be accompanied by a clean title, supporting documentation from Andial, and a collection of records. A true holy grail for air-cooled aficionados, this rare and highly collectible Andial 993 Turbo presents an opportunity that is not to be missed.

Yes, again, I am not knowledgeable about the Andial motor upgrade.
However, it appears the rest of the car is stock ( 993 TT ) and again, I am simply commenting on the increasing prices bid. ( for the motor upgrade )
Nothing more, nothing less.
Bid in the amount of $169,000
@sportscarguy3 you might want to look up Andial before making that kind of statement. PMNA purchased Andial in 2013 just saying..
@sportscarguy3 Wrong. I wouldn’t by a 993 unless it was set up like this. We all have opinions. This car is outstanding compared to a standard 993
I suppose you are correct. I really know nothing about the Andial motor.
Just commenting on the escalating bids
@sportscarguy3 you should do some research as to what Andial brings to the table
Bid in the amount of $168,500
We are approaching prices that can purchase a lower mileage 993 TT ( 408 hp )
Just saying guys !

@911reasons The current owner/collector purchased the car mid 2016. Upon purchase he had the car thoroughly serviced. New tires in October 2016 and since then only driven about 450miles. New battery April 2019. Full service just completed in March 2021 including brake fluid. Invoices totaling $7,916.36 for maintenance work since mid 2016.
For everyone’s information, the Andial upgrade cost over $100k!
What is the service history of the car over the past few years? What are the age of the tires?

@Reline7500 We have a folder of Andial documentation with the car, however there is no dyno report in there, and we have not put the car on a dyno or carried out a leakdown test. Andial / Porsche Motorsports may have records. We can assure you this car runs very well and is FAST!!!
@Secretcollector The picture of the registry is attached, certain columns have been blanked out by Pcarmarket due to data protection laws. The original registry list comes with the car. This car is number 8 on the list, TS376305, which are the last digits of the VIN#
Great looking car and modifications. I was curious if you had any dyno data on the engine or leakdown testing?
Bid in the amount of $105,000
Can you please post a legible image/scan of the included Andial Registry so that this particular car can be seen and also viewed in context with the others? Thank you.

This is extraordinary!
Definitely a special car!
I would spend another $5k+ to finish it. Get rid of the OE shocks and H&R lowering springs and replace with something decent (PSS10’s). Not sure why the brake sensors were cut off and hate to see broken plastic parts held together with zip-ties. I would also replace the missing rear control arm covers and the black plastic cap on the rear seat-belt mounting bolt.
Since there is a “cosmetic” respray of a fender I would want to see the inner fender and removal of the wheel and fender liner to be sure it wasn’t something more than cosmetic.
GLWA!
The stock boost gauge in the dash works fine the custom gauge might have a loose wire
I grew up in Newport Beach and was active in the Motorsport community during the days of Andial. Their work was highly regarded and without a doubt the leading edge. It will be interesting to see how this year and modified car does as compared to the last year,1997 unmodified 993 TT’s. This appears to be a very special car!
Ohhh lala
Wow. !
This baby should bring some serious money !
( maybe I can hit the lottery this weekend ! )
Bid in the amount of $75,000
Why was the boost gauge disconnected?
