Up for auction is this 1996 Porsche 993 Carrera 4S finished in Guards Red over a Cashmere Beige and Black partial leather interior. Combining Turbo-derived styling with all-wheel-drive, naturally aspirated performance, this 993 C4S also came factory equipped with optional Sport Suspension (030) as well as the Motor Sound Package which provides for an even more driver-oriented experience. This 993 is now being offered for auction out of the large Porsche collection of its fourth owner in California while showing just over 34k miles on the odometer.
This 993 is finished in the traditional shade of Guards Red and features clear paint protection film over the hood, bumper, and front fenders. A collection of detailed images is provided in the photo gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report. The 993 Carrera 4S is desirable for its Turbo-derived styling including wide fenders and revised front and rear bumpers. This example rides on a set of upgraded 18” hollow spoke Turbo wheels which are said to have been mounted with new Continental Sport Contact tires in 2019 within the last 500 miles.
Inside, this 993 features a highly original Cashmere Beige and Black partial leather interior with factory options including an 8-way power-operated driver’s seat, cruise control, an electric sunroof, CR-210 radio, and a 6-disc CD changer. Specially ordered CarBone floormats have been added and only minimal signs of wear have been noted throughout the cabin. The seller also confirms all gauges and accessories to be fully functional at this time.
Representing the final air-cooled generation, this 993 is equipped with a 3.6L flat-six Varioram that delivers up to 282 HP to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The 4S also shares its larger brakes and suspension setup with the Turbo model. Additionally, this particular example was factory equipped with Sport Suspension (030) which adds shorter, stiffer springs, upgraded anti-roll bars, and harder dampers. Maintenance records are said to be included from previous ownership and the seller reports that a recent service was carried out this year including an oil change and new front sway bar drop links. This sale will include one master key, the owner’s books, a tool roll, spare tire, and a clean title. I casually jumped on this site to see what my car might be worth (1996 993 Cabriolet). This is an impressive car, and an impressive presentation! I remember thinking about the Guards Red-Cashmere combination when I bought mine, back in '96, but opted for the Polar Silver-Black. This is a classic!

I have no relationship but need to commend seller for such a clean, well cared for car. I note images 134-135 for example that retains the often dirty or missing clear tape on most cars. Hope you get all its worth.
I've received several private messages thus far with great questions and kind words, and I'd like to publicize a few of the questions.
I kept the car at my residence in Oregon over the last two years. Zach, from Premium Auto Detail in South Beach, Oregon helped me keep this car in concours condition. I had the car brought down to southern California via enclosed transport to facilitate the sale. I have one enclosed transporter that I use exclusively (husband and wife team) that are the best in the business and will gladly refer them to the winning bidder upon request. I do have a set of classic Porsche Fuchs, which can be purchased separately and give the car a really nice alternative look.
I did locate a second key which is cut and will start the car, but the fob immobilizer on the key is currently inoperative. I have also just received a duplicate window sticker from Stuttgart Studios and it looks exactly as an original .
The car does not have any check engine light nor any codes stored at this time.
While I am pleased with the presentation here, this car will exceed any and all expectations.
I'm quite obsessed when it comes to my cars and this one is no exception.
I only hope it goes to someone who will love it and cherish it as much as I have.

At the time I purchased this car, I was only given a PDF of a copy of the window sticker. I have already ordered a professional duplicate from Stuttgart Studios and it will be included with the sale. I don't recall the COA, but will double check and gladly include it also.
As for an additional key, great question. I realized a few months ago that the second key given to me with the car was never cut. I will make every attempt to get it cut for the car and include it also with the sale prior to delivery.
