Available for auction at no reserve is this 1996 Land Rover Range Rover P38A finished in Willow Green Metallic over a tan Connolly leather interior. The second-generation Range Rover was launched in 1994, 24 years after the introduction of the original Range Rover, and was the last to utilize the Rover V8 and Connolly Leather upholstery. This 1996 example spent the first 20 years of its life between Pennsylvania and Maine before being acquired by its second owner in 2016, and subsequently by the seller in April 2022. It comes equipped with a 4.0-liter Rover V8 engine, a roof basket, heated power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, BFGoodrich K02 tires, a coil spring conversion, and more. This Range Rover is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Oklahoma.

This example is finished in Willow Green Metallic and equipped with fog lights, an Arksen roof basket, and a tow ball hitch. It rides on a set of 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels dressed in BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires. The CARFAX report indicates damage occurred to the right side of the vehicle in 2000 and the seller notes fading paint and rock chips are present throughout the exterior. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with the full CARFAX report.

The cabin is upholstered in tan Connolly leather and features wood trim accents on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, cruise control, heated and power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, power windows and door locks, an 11-speaker audio system with a cassette player, and a power-operated sunroof. A crack is noted on the dashboard as well as some wear on the parking brake boot and a few damaged trim panels in the cargo area. The seller reports the sunroof is inoperable, and traction control, anti-lock braking, and airbag warning lights are present on the dashboard. The CARFAX report shows a mileage inconsistency in July of 2004, and the vehicle's true mileage remains unknown.

Power comes from an aluminum 4.0-liter Rover V8 driving all four wheels by way of a 4-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel antilock disc brakes, and the factory air suspension was replaced with a coil spring suspension under previous ownership. The CARFAX report includes 27 service entries dating back as far as 1998, with the latest entry in 2019.

This sale will include a clean title.

The Rover runs and drive as it should, it does have a few issues that I will note.
Dash needs cap or replacement for the passenger side collapse.
Lights on dash for ABS, traction control and SRS. Most likely resulting from the coil suspension swap? Sunroof will not open, could be switch or motor. Any other questions please contact me anytime.
