The Acura NSX features an aluminum semi-monocoque structure and was designed with the help of Formula 1 legend Aryton Senna and Indy champ Bobby Rahal. First introduced at the 1989 Chicago Auto Show, the NSX went on sale in 1990 and would become one of the most iconic Japanese sports cars of all time. This 1997 NSX-T was ordered in Berlina Black over an Oynx leather interior and was reportedly purchased new by NFL linebacker Lee Woodall of the San Francisco 49ers. It is said to be one of 415 examples produced for the 1997 model year, and one of only 42 NSX-T's ordered in this color combination with a 6-speed manual transmission. With approximately 22,500 miles on the odometer, this 1997 NSX-T is now being offered at auction by its seller out of California.
The bodywork is finished in Berlina Black (NH-547) with a matching removable aluminum roof panel, pop-up headlights, an integrated rear spoiler, dual exhaust outlets, and silver brake calipers with NSX markings. The seller reports two minor paint chips on the front fenders and the front air dam has been removed, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. A set of 16” chrome aftermarket wheels are mounted with Falken FK452 tires in the front showing date codes from 2009, and Kumho Ecsta ASX tires in the rear with date codes from 2004. The seller also notes curb rash on both passenger side rims.
The interior is upholstered in Onyx with a leather-trimmed dashboard, seating surfaces, and door panels. Features include power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, NSX-branded floor mats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. Amenities include automatic climate control, a remote keyless entry system, a BOSE sound system, a CD changer, cruise control, and dual cupholders.
The mid-mounted 3.2-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and produced 290 horsepower and 224 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a close-ratio 6-speed manual transaxle equipped with a torque-reactive limited-slip differential. The NSX can reach 60 MPH from a standstill in under 6 seconds, with a claimed top speed of 168 MPH. Performance features include aluminum suspension arms, front and rear stabilizer bars, electric variable-assist power steering, a direct ignition system, and four-channel anti-lock brakes with vented discs at all four corners. The seller reports that the engine oil has been changed every 3k miles.

@Eco888 Hello Eco888, body panel stickers began in year 2000, this is model year 1997. All bodywork and paint is original, this car has never been in an accident, it was purchased, placed in the garage and almost never driven, thank you. Greg Stirling
