Available for auction is this 1997 Ford F-150 SuperCab Lariat finished in two-tone Dark Toreador Red Clearcoat Metallic and tan over a Prairie Tan leather interior. Introduced for the 1997 model year, the tenth-generation F-150 was redesigned with the goal of being a dual-purpose vehicle to suit the needs of both private and commercial drivers. This 1997 example came generously equipped from the factory with the premium Lariat trim package, a 5.4-liter Triton V8 engine, Electric shift-on-the-fly four-wheel drive, the 4x4 Off Road Equipment Group, the Class III Trailer Towing Group, and more. A rare find with just under 47k miles on the odometer, this one-owner F-150 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Oregon.
The tenth-generation F-150 was restyled with a rounder oval-based exterior design, and the SuperCab models were given a rear third door to make second-row access easier. This example is finished in Dark Toreador Red Clearcoat Metallic with tan lower bodywork. Features include chrome bumpers with a rear step, a rear tow-hitch, halogen headlights, fog lamps, side steps, a hood-mounted bug shield, and a color-matched LEER camper shell. The cabin is upholstered in Prairie Tan leather with matching carpets and features dual front captain’s chairs with “Lariat” embroidered into the backrests. Features include air conditioning, a tiling steering wheel, cruise control, a power adjustable driver’s seat, power-operated windows, door locks, and mirrors, a sliding rear window, automatic headlights, and an electronic AM/FM cassette radio with a 6-disc CD changer. The seller confirms that all gauges, electronics, and accessories remain functional.
Power comes from a 5.4-liter Triton V8 engine rated at 235 HP and 330 lb.-ft torque from the factory. The rear or all four wheels are driven by way of 4-speed automatic transmission along with an electric shift-on-the-fly transfer case and a 3.55 limited-slip rear axle. The tenth generation F-150 received the most comprehensive redesign the model had seen in 17 years, sharing only transmission with the outgoing model. Ford’s Twin I-Beam front axles were replaced with a fully independent front suspension setup providing a more compliant ride. The Offroad and Towing packages add engine oil and transmission coolers, heavy-duty shocks, and protective skid plates. The seller notes maintenance has included regularly scheduled services every 3k miles and states there are no outstanding items at this time.

@Neverlift.Eng Sorry, I’m not sure I believe it’s factory. It comes split like that but I’m not sure. Sorry I think there is no damage to the Grill.
Not addressed specifically in the ad, is the grill cracked? Was is from removal for installation for the HIDs ?
This truck is solid no issues I would jump in the truck and drive across country with no worries
Would there be any known problems with driving the vehicle 1200 miles to another location i.e. overheating, wheel balance/alignment, air cond/heater/defroster, oil leaks, etc.? Thank you in advance. Incidentally, great color combination!

Presumably it would be pre-mature to would have replaced the passenger side exhaust manifold but if possible I would like a picture of this. Common failure point on this model, can be viewed above the passenger side tire. Thanks in advance,
