The Honda AC15, or Honda Dream 50, was released for the Japanese market in 1997 to honor the iconic CR110 racer from the 1960s. Powered by an air-cooled 49cc four-stroke single-cylinder engine and 5-speed manual transmission, the bike is often celebrated for its retro aesthetics, including racing handlebars, a sleek, elongated fuel tank, and a distinctive race-tail design. Finished in silver with red accents, this inaugural-year example was imported to the United States in 2017. It is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Virginia.
The exterior showcases a retro-racing aesthetic, featuring a compact size, a lightweight diamond-design frame, and a narrow fuel tank. It is complete with a slim seat design, distinctive race-tail, and dual exhaust outlets. This example comes finished in silver with black pinstriping and red accents complemented by chrome trim. It rides on 18” wire-spoke wheels mounted with Pirelli Mandrake Pirelli Mandrake 2.50-18 45L tires from 2017. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
Powering the Honda AC15 is an air-cooled, 49cc four-stroke single-cylinder engine connected to a 5-speed manual transmission. It features inner spring telescopic forks in the front and a swingarm rear suspension, along with disc brakes at both ends. The fuel tank has a capacity of approximately 6.2-liters. Upon importation, the owner reportedly rode the bike once before draining and cleaning the fuel system and changing the oil. The seller indicates that yearly oil changes have been performed, with no outstanding maintenance items reported.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This very rare motorcycle was only built for the Japanese Market and only a few ever made it to the United States. This fine example was imported in 2017 new to the original owner that we purchased it from. Once imported, the owner rode it one time then drained and cleaned the fuel system and changed the oil. The owner changed the oil every year. While the Dream was with the original owner, they kept it stored in a Climate Control Environment. As you can see in the pictures, this bike is new and in excellent condition with only 19.0 km showing on the meter.”

@zollerm the bike is running but we have no idea what the top speed is. The best information we can find online is the top speed is around 35 to 40 MPH.
Is the bike in "running" condition and what is the top speed? Thanks.
@Slim_Chance it has a Pennsylvania title and I do not see any brands on it designating it as off road only.
Road legal title? Most of the ones I’ve seen were not but they also lacked lighting and were “off road” only.
Thanks.
@Radman that is what the previous owner did. Once it was traded to us it has been stored in out climate controlled warehouse.
