Among the most desirable air-cooled cars of the era, the 993 Carrera 4S combines naturally aspirated performance with the wide bodywork and all-wheel-drive system of the 911 Turbo. This 1997 example was ordered in Arctic Silver Metallic over black partial leather along with the optional Motor Sound Package, HiFi Sound System, and supple leather seats. Additionally, the driving experience has been upgraded with a Bilstein PSS10 coilover suspension, Eibach sway bars, Fister mufflers, a modern Porsche Classic stereo, custom Recaro CS sport seats, and more. The car spent most of its early life in Texas before moving to California in 2014 where it was later sold from Marshall Goldman Motor Sales in 2019. The third and current owner acquired the car out of Ohio in 2021 and has since invested over $10k in a major mechanical service. Accompanied by a host of original factory parts as well as a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and extensive records, this Carrera 4S is now being offered for auction out of New York showing approximately 39k miles on the odometer.
Completely preserved under clear paint protection film, this 993 comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic (L92U) and rides on factory 18” Turbo-look wheels dressed in new Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. A removable window tint has been applied along with removable vinyl Porsche graphics on each side. The front bumper, hood, and driver’s door were professionally refinished to address cosmetic imperfections in 2021 as certified by a letter from K&M Collision of North Carolina. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The black interior has been recently fitted with a set of custom leather Recaro CS sport seats, while the original factory-optioned supple leather seats are also included with the sale. The original steering wheel has been redone with thicker perforated grips and an aftermarket Rennline pedal cover set has been installed along with a goldenrod short-shift kit, silver gauge bezels, Coco floor mats, and a Porsche Classic stereo system with Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay.
The air-cooled 3.6L flat-six engine is rated at 282 HP, driving all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. This example is currently fitted with upgraded Stage III Fister mufflers as well as an upgraded Bilstein PSS10 coilover suspension, Eibach sway bars, and Tarett Engineering drop links. A collection of maintenance records is provided for reference in the gallery, and a recent service by Werks 1 Inc. totaled over $10k with the installation of new head gaskets, spark plugs, ignition wires, fluids, belts, CV joint boots, and a rebuilt rack and pinion.
This sale will include the original seats, exhaust, and other factory parts well as a binder of service records, a clean title, and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.

@bmourer I just took out my digital fraction caliper and took measurements of the bumper on both sides and the hood it’s identical perfectly aligned Let’s get on a FaceTime and I’ll show you

Beautiful C4S, I recall seeing the BaT auction as well, and it does look far better now, nicely done updates. Silver really is the best color for this car!
@xios7077, can you speak to photos 35 and 36 (among others) where it looks like the bumper cover on the passenger side is not fitted properly as it rounds to corner under the headlight, and to a lesser degree on the driver side. It also appears that the hood does not align with the bumper across the top of the cover and bottom of the hood (could be the angle of the photo doing odd things with the light--not real sure). Not dramatic but it does appear the fitment is not quite right. Looks like it could be adjusted just tough to tell from the pics.

@arokhsar Pcar market took the readings they came in at 11. The problem is the whole car is wrapped in a PPF so it give a false reading so we decided not to post the photos.
