The end of an era for Porsche’s air-cooled 911 Turbo, the 993 generation was the first to adopt a twin-turbocharged engine paired with an all-wheel drive system. This 1997 example was ordered in Arctic Silver Metallic over a rare Rubicon Grey leather interior along with exclusive factory options including stainless steel doo entry guards, tailpipes, and aluminum-look instrument dials. The car remained under the care of its first two owners in Texas before it was acquired by the seller as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from Porsche Roslyn in 2009. Supported by a collection of service records and with approximately 40k miles on the odometer, this 993 Turbo is now being offered for auction by its longtime owner out of New York.
Compared to a 993 Carrera, the Turbo model sports wider sills and rear bodywork as well as a body-colored rear spoiler and redesigned bumpers with three front air inlets. This example is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic (L92U) and rides on factory 18” Technology hollow-spoke wheels with colored Porsche crest center caps. Exclusive stainless steel exhaust pipes were also optioned from the factory. Some minor imperfections are noted, and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with rarely seen Rubicon Grey (VR) leather upholstery and showcases factory-exclusive door entry guards in stainless steel as well as aluminum-look instrument dials and leather-edged floor mats with Porsche script. Other factory features include automatic air conditioning, power accessories, an electric sliding sunroof, cruise control, and an optional Nokia Digital Sound Processing (DSP) audio system.
Equipped with twin K-16 turbochargers and dual-charge air intercoolers, the air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine produces up to 408 HP and 398 lb.-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission with Active Brake Differential (ABD) and a limited-slip differential. Stopping power is derived from red-painted fixed 4-piston aluminum brake calipers paired with 322mm rotors front and rear. Accompanying service records show a new clutch kit and flywheel installed along with new spark plugs, ignition wires, a crankshaft seal, and a power steering belt in 2019 at 38,453 miles. More recently in September 2022, both turbocharger assemblies were replaced along with associated parts and hardware. Supporting invoices are provided for reference in the gallery.

FRONT FENDERS ON 993TT SOMEHOW ALWAYS READ HIGHER PAINT METER LEVELS. CAN'T EXPLAIN IT. I HAVE ONE AND BOTH FRONT FENDERS READ THE SAME BUT HIGHER THAN THE REST OF THE CAR. THIS WAS A FACTORY PROBLEM. MOST LIKELY ISSUE WAS CORRECTED BY DEALERS PRIOR TO THE ORIGINAL SALE. DOUBT ANY PAINT ISSUES ON THIS ONE.

Do not believe front fender has any word done to it.all documents for clutch and new turbo’s come with car
Engine was out of car when clutch was replaced. Also turbos were leaking oil. Had 2 brand new turbos replaced very recently. No more oil leaking
Nice 993 TT. Appears from paint meter readings that left front fender has paintwork? Also were both turbos replaced or rebuilt as is more common? Was engine out service required to address repaired issues stated? If not is there any evidence of oil leaks on underside of engine ? Maybe I missed "supporting invoices provided for reference in gallery"

What a lovely car. I can attest to Rubicon Gray being a fantastic shade of grey with a hint of lavender. I have it on my ex Porsche AG Ocean Jade 993 turbo and love it. Good luck to the seller and eventual buyer!
