This stunning Arena Red 1997 Porsche 993 Turbo is 1 of only 1,297 produced for the US market. The 993-model Turbo is celebrated for its design, staggering performance numbers and place in Porsche history as the last generation of air-cooled Turbos. This 2-owner example has been garage kept in Florida throughout its life and is now being offered with only 39,304 miles on the odometer.
The exquisite Arena Red paint is stated to be fully original and in excellent condition. This car rides on its original 18” Turbo twist wheels that are wrapped in Continental Extreme Contact tires. Factory options include an electric sunroof, rear wiper and stainless steel exhaust tips. The sunroof operates smoothly and the original rubber seals remain intact. Overall, this car is strikingly clean and retains its original factory appearance.
The tan leather interior of this Turbo looks as it did new, aside from minor wear to the front seats and a small scuff to the shift knob. The interior features 8-way power operated seats with adjustable lumbar support as well factory added Onboard Computer, Premium Audio Nokia "DSP” Sound Package, Becker CDR-210 Radio and cruise control. This fully original interior is clean and all electronic systems and accessories are working properly.
This 993 is equipped with a twin-turbocharged M64 3.6L flat-six engine, producing 408HP and 398 lb-ft torque, impressive even by todays standards. Power is delivered to all four wheels by way of a crisp 6-speed manual transmission. This 1997 Turbo features an ECU that can be flashed and modified allowing for seamless performance tuning. This Turbo is totally unmodified and drives as originally intended. Regular service has always been performed including a recent oil change. The car is stated be in excellent running condition.
The sale of this pristine 993 Turbo will include a clean Carfax, original and complete owner's pouch with owner’s manual, maintenance book, warranty book, CDR 210 radio book, tools, jack, and keys.
This collector’s grade 993 is truly special. The last of the air-cooled Turbos and the first to be equipped with AWD, this car marks a milestone in Porsche history, a last hurrah for the analog, air-cooled 911 and a nod to the highly refined, somewhat more sensible cars that would soon follow.

It's really amazing how much the design changed from the 993 to the 996 in just two years from this car's production - just love the classic design of the 993 and they loaded it with so much hp in such a small package. Great car!
