Up for auction is this 1998 Porsche 993 Carrera S finished in Guards Red. Featuring the widebody of the Turbo model while offering naturally aspirated rear-wheel-drive performance, this 993 Carrera 2S remains one of the most collectible Porsche's on the road. Representing the air-cooled 911’s final year of production, this 1998 example shows just over 15k miles and is equipped with a desirable factory Aerokit, genuine Porsche Tequipment wheels, and an exclusive black interior with red leather accents. It is now being offered in excellent overall condition by its seller in California accompanied by a clean title and a Porsche Production Specification Sheet.
The traditional Guards Red finish is said to be in exemplary condition with paint protective film applied over the entire front end except for the right front fender which was recently removed for detailing (please see the photo gallery for detailed images). Noteworthy features on this example include a factory optional Aerokit Turbo II consisting of front and rear spoilers, Turbo S-style front brake duct inserts, Euro clear side markers, a Euro-spec rear bumper, and dealer installed Porsche Tequipment Sport Classic II wheels. Brand-new Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires have also been recently installed.
Inside, the cabin is appointed in black and red leather interior with Exclusive option codes 09981 and 09991. Red seatbelts have been added along with a two-tone Atiwe Ruf-style steering wheel and factory options include 8-way power-operated seats, a sunroof, and the HiFi Sound Package. The original Blaupunkt radio is said to remain fully functional along with all other gauges and accessories.
This 993 is equipped with an air-cooled 3.6 L flat-six Varioram engine that is capable of generating 282 HP. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission allowing for a 0-60 time of approximately 5 seconds. Eibach lowering springs have been installed to provide a “Euro” ride height. This car is said to be in excellent driving condition with approximately $7k worth of recent service carried out including the following items:

@PHenizadeh The original wheels are not with the car. The two piece Porsche factory wheels that were installed at the dealership and are on the car now are at least twice as valuable as the factory wheels. Fortunately, original 993 wheels are still available.

Thank you for the comments and questions. I am happy to answer all questions and want the 993 S to be very transparent.
I will be including paint meter readings and some more shots of the paint on Monday when I get back into the shop.
There are two paint blemishes on the rear wing. I tried to get a shot of this but it did not show up. The front spoiler has some discoloring on the bottom. The plastic covering was applied over it when they wrapped the front. You can see some of it in the closer shots, but I will get a better shot of it.
it just passed California smog and there is no issue showing with the secondary air valve or air tubes. No check engine lights and no issues with stored codes.
The interior is not Porsche factory. It appears that it was done early on and was done very well. No wear or tears. We do not have the original steering wheel.
All servicing is up to date and the items that came up on the PPI have been addressed and repaired or serviced.
