We are pleased to present this 1998 Porsche 993 Carrera S finished in Arena Red Metallic over a Cashmere Beige and Black leather interior. Marking the end of the air-cooled era for the Porsche 911, this final-year 993 Carrera S sports wide Turbo-style bodywork and a naturally aspirated flat-six engine sending power to the rear wheels. It was originally delivered to Sunset Porsche of Oregon with the optional Motor Sound Package, lightweight hollow-spoke wheels, supple leather upholstery, and a host of special details from the Exclusive Program including Porsche crested headrests, deviated carpeting, deviated seat stitching, and stainless-steel door entry guards with model logos. It had remained with its original owner in Portland, Oregon before it was acquired by the seller in late 2021 and has since been thoroughly serviced and refreshed for its next owner. With approximately 39k miles showing on the odometer, this outstanding one-owner 993 C2S is being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.
This 1998 example comes finished in the iconic 993 color of Arena Red Metallic and sports the wide bodywork of the 911 Turbo along with a unique split-grille rear decklid specific to the Carrera S model. Optional Litronic Bi-Xenon headlights were equipped from the factory along with lightweight 18” Technology hollow-spoke wheels fitted with colored Porsche center crests. Recently in preparation for sale, the hood, front bumper, and fenders were refinished to address some signs of road-going wear. This was followed by a full five-stage paint correction process, a full Ceramic Pro coating, and an application of clear Xpel paint protection film over the front end. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report. The factory lightweight wheels come dressed in a set of Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires dated from 2015.
Inside, you will find a Cashmere Beige and Black supple leather interior with exclusive deviated carpeting, stainless steel door sills, and seats with deviated stitching and Porsche crested headrests. The cabin is described to have been beautifully preserved with all gauges and accessories working properly including the original radio. The factory specifications label on the underside of the hood lists several exclusive option codes as well as the following equipment:

This 993 is equipped with an air-cooled 3.6L flat-six engine featuring the Varioram resonant induction system and optional Motor Sound Package which adds a revised airbox and louder mufflers for an enhanced tone. As much as 282 HP is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Standard performance features include a multi-link LSA rear suspension, dual exhaust system, and fixed four-piston brake calipers paired with vented rotors front and rear. A service and pre-purchase inspection have been recently carried out by Porsche South Orlando in preparation for the next owner. A collection of records are provided in the gallery including invoices for a new battery, drive belts, clutch kit, flywheel, spark plugs, and a brake fluid flush earlier in 2021.
This sale will include service records, the original air compressor, toolkit, owner's manuals, sales literature, and a clean title. A fine example of one of the very last air-cooled Porsche 911s, this nicely optioned 993 Carrera S is not to be overlooked.

@riley17 the car is currently located in Orlando Florida. I placed the Cali tag on the car for the photo shoot as it fit the overall look of the car and location. The Honda license plate frame is my personal addition to all of my cars as to add a little humor and not take myself too serious. Plus I was told that anything with a Honda logo would run forever so it seems like good car karma to me…

@Hjs911 good morning. Im sorry but I don’t have pictures from before. I would provide them if I did. The interior is a 9.8 and gets the .2 deduction for a small piece of leather at the seam of the shift boot for coming unglued. Not ripped, no threads missing, just needs to be glued with upholstery glue. I planned to do it with the winners approval after the auction. The dash is is a 10, the supple seats are a 10 (zero wear marks), the carpets are a 10, the door panels are a 10, all buttons and electronics are a 10. I hope this helps as it’s a true specimen. Let me know if any other questions.

I wanted to point out a few details as we get this auction started.
1. This car is a 1-owner vehicle!
2. All required/desired reconditioning has been completed to the car from my team. This includes, mechanical service, PPI, paint correction, Xpel PPF, & CeramicPro ceramic coating.
3. The front panels (Front bumper, fenders, hood) have been refreshed from the original owner prior to my dealership sourcing the car. He refreshed the panels to have general road wear removed. All panels are original, and this car has NEVER been in any accident what so ever!
4. I completed a 5 stage paint correction on all panels of this car to remove minor marring.
5. I applied Xpel PPF to protect these panels, and preserve the paint from any future wear for the 2nd owner. Please review the paint meter readings to help show the level of consistency, and craftsmanship with this vehicle. This will also show that the car is believed to have NO prior paint work on any additional areas. I will upload additional paint meter pictures of the PPF areas later this week.
6. After the Xpel PPF was applied I’ve had 3 coats of CeramicPro coating applied with one additional top coat layer to protect the luster of the paint for years to come.
7. The car was sent to Porsche South Orlando the week I received it for a full PPI (pre-purchase inspection) to further show the quality of this car. This PPI document is included in the pictures as well.
8. I serviced the car while at Porsche South Orlando while receiving the PPI. That included an LOF, balance & rotate, alignment, and fluid top off. There are no current additional required services needed.
9. I’ll be sure to take belly shots of the vehicle late this week or early next week. I actually forgot to do this while it was getting the oil change. Feel free to make fun of me for overlooking this item….
10. This vehicle comes with a limited print 1/3 signed by the photographer (Insta @rfmartinphotography) and myself. This will be a 20X30 print on metallic paper. All of our “select” cars have this included as a fun gift for being a customer of our brand.
