We are pleased to offer this low-mileage 1999 Bentley Arnage finished in Silver Tempest over a Slate leather interior.  The successor to the Bentley Brooklands, the Arnage was manufactured from 1998-2009 and was the first entirely new design from Bentley since 1980.  This full-size ultra-luxury sedan utilizes a specially adapted twin-turbocharged version of BMW’s M62 V8 engine developed by Cosworth Engineering.  Showing just over 3k miles on the odometer, this Arnage is now being offered for auction by its owner out of New York.

This Bentley is finished in Silver Tempest and features chrome exterior trim and moldings along with a distinctive chrome matrix front grille.  The bodyshell of the Arnage is based on that of its sister car, the Rolls Royce Silver Seraph. The car is noted to have been garage-kept throughout its life and CARFAX shows damage to have occurred to the front end in 2013, although based on information from the previous owner, the seller has contested this as a false report.  Additional images are provided in the photo gallery.  This Bentley rides on 17” 5-spoke cast aluminum alloy wheels which feature a chromed finish, gold “B” logo center caps, and Bridgestone Dueler H/L tires.

Inside, this Arnage offers a beautifully crafted interior appointed with fine Slate leather, decorative wood veneers, and polished fittings.  The leatherbound multifunction steering wheel sits ahead of a driver information display and analog instrumentation with off-white dials.  In the center of the dashboard are five gauges including an analog clock and meters for fuel level, oil pressure, battery voltage, and coolant temperature.  Between the front seats are controls for power seat adjustment, two-stage heating, and position memory.  Occupants in the rear are provided with separate air vents and independently adjustable electric seats.  The audio system consists of an Alpine radio and a 6-disc autochanger with remote control for rear seat operation.  The seller reports all gauges and accessories to be fully functional.

Power comes from a Cosworth-tuned BMW M62 4.4L DOHC V8 engine featuring twin turbochargers and an output of up to 350 HP and 420 lb.-ft of torque.  The rear wheels are driven through a ZF 5-speed automatic transmission.  Routine service is reported to have been addressed by the seller including an oil change carried out earlier in 2021, and all other available service history is provided on CARFAX.
