We are pleased to offer this rare 1999 Mercedes-Benz G500 SWB Europa with customizations by Brabus. Reported to be one of only 10 European-market SWB examples imported to North America by G-Wagen specialist Europa International, this highly collectible G500 also received high-end Brabus modifications including front and rear spoilers, custom supple leather upholstery, and an upgraded 5.8 L V8 engine. This example is said to have been under the care of 2 private owners throughout its life with its previous ownership lasting from 2009 up until 2019. Currently showing approximately 29k miles on the odometer, this incredibly special Gelandewagen is now being offered by its seller in Miami accompanied by original owner’s manuals, keys, and an extensive service history dating back to the original purchase.
This G500 is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic, and the paint is shown to be in excellent condition (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). Highlights include a rare factory 3-door configuration, a Brabus front spoiler with integrated fog lights, a Brabus roof spoiler, Brabus badging, side-exit exhaust tips, a rear-mounted spare, and 18” Brabus Monoblock wheels.
Inside, the cabin has been customized with Brabus supple leather upholstery as well as Brabus logo headrests, shifter knobs, pedals, and door lock pins, Alcantara headliner, and a Brabus speedometer. Noteworthy factory features include heated front and rear seats with power front seat operation, a power-operated steel sunroof, air conditioning, and decorative walnut trim. The seller confirms all gauges and accessories to be working properly.
The original 5.0 L M113 V8 engine in this G500 was upgraded to a Brabus 5.8 L for a substantial increase in power. All four wheels are driven through a 5-speed automatic transmission which offers a dual-range transfer case and 3 locking differentials operated by switches mounted on the dashboard. A comprehensive history of maintenance is included and this G500 is said to be in excellent running order with a service carried out by Mercedes-Benz of Daytona Beach in 2019 at 28,714 miles.
