Up for auction is this 1999 Porsche 996 Carrera Coupe finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a black interior. Produced in February of 1998 among the first of its generation, this 996 Carrera comes factory equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission and optional limited-slip differential along with optional supple leather seats, a rear window wiper, Hi-Fi Sound Package, Power Seat Package, and more. Having recently received a new clutch, rear main seal, and LN Engineering IMS bearing solution, this Carrera is now being offered for auction by its fourth owner out of Oklahoma showing approximately 113k miles on the odometer.
This first-generation 996 comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic (L92U) and rides on a set of aftermarket OZ Alleggerita wheels which were mounted with new Continental Contisport Contact tires within the last 1k miles. The original set of 17” twist wheels are said to accompany the sale as well. A clean CARFAX report is provided in the gallery along with images of several imperfections throughout the exterior.
The black interior is appointed with optional electrically adjustable seats trimmed in supple leather with driver position memory. The fuel gauge sender and passenger window regulator were recently replaced, and some wear is depicted on the front seats. The factory specifications label below the hood lists the following original equipment codes:

A 3.4L flat-six engine sends as much as 296 HP and 258 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and factory optional limited-slip differential. The front struts have been placed with upgraded Koni FSD units. Most known service history is shown on the CARFAX report and the seller states an LN Engineering IMS bearing solution was installed in March of 2022 in addition to a new clutch, rear main seal, and oil change.
This sale will include a clean title.

@Blubusdrvr Yes, seems odd and makes me wonder. If you’re bidding plan is to overwhelm the competition, why not just come in with a maximum bid to begin with? Outbidding your own bid twice in a row is peculiar.

Quick note to add that I found the old motor mounts with a receipt for new ones from 2018. The rear struts are also new Koni FSD, I think the ad text only shows front.

This has “driver” written all over it. Plenty of cosmetic flaws to keep most away but this one is right in my wheelhouse. Blubusdrvr cleared for the approach!
