Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a rare Boxster Red extended leather interior, this 1999 Porsche 996 Carrera Coupe features a 6-speed manual transmission and a host of upgrades including a VF Engineering supercharger kit, a Numeric Racing short shifter, a lightweight flywheel, 19” RUF-style wheels, aftermarket mufflers, a dual-row LN Engineering IMS bearing, and more. It was purchased by the current owner in 2009 and is now being offered for auction out of Virginia with approximately 90k miles showing on the odometer.
This 996 is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and has been modified with an aftermarket 997 GT3-style front bumper, a rear decklid spoiler, Litronic headlamps, LED taillights, and a rear “PORSCHE” decal. Other additions include an aftermarket third brake light, tinted side marker lights, and silver 19” RUF-style wheels. Other equipment includes an electric sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, fog lights, dual exhaust outlets, and Porsche-branded brake calipers. The seller notes some cosmetic imperfections including exterior chips and scratches, blemishes on the wheels, and faded wheel center caps. The tires show production date codes from 2012. The cabin features Boxster Red leather with matching carpets and optional extended leather upholstery on the dashboard and door panels. Other equipment includes heated and power-adjustable front seats, a four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, a carbon fiber handbrake and gear knob, automatic climate control, cruise control, a remote central locking system, an aftermarket radar detector, and an ATOTO touchscreen head unit. Signs of wear on noted on the seats and interior touch points as well as bubbling on the shifter surround and cracks in the gear knob. The passenger-side window regulator was replaced in 2021.
Power comes from a 3.4-liter flat-six engine upgraded with a VF Engineering VF425 supercharger kit and a water-to-air intercooler. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission with a Numeric Racing short shifter, a 996 Carrera 4S clutch, a lightweight flywheel, and an updated second gear detent. Other modifications include aftermarket mufflers and an LN Engineering dual-row IMS bearing kit. The seller indicates the supercharger and IMS bearing kit were installed in 2012 at 72k miles along with new spark plugs and front brakes. The thermostat and water pump were also replaced in 2016 at just under 86k miles.
This sale will include an owner’s manual, two keys, and a clean title.

@TexasTRex The supercharger/IMS was done under current ownership. All the work was completed by a local shop that specializes in Porsche's.
Love the color combo, Does it smoke at all on start-up? Cold start video doesn't show exhaust.

Did you make the modifications (add supercharger, front bumper, IMS replacement, etc...) or were they done by the previous owner? If you did them, how long ago?
