Up for auction is this 1999 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Coupe. This example features a desirable color combination, manual transmission, and low mileage. Starting life in Florida, this car now resides in New York under the care of the current owner since March of this year. It is currently reported to be in excellent condition and is ready to be enjoyed by its next owner.
Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic, the seller claims that a few areas of the exterior have been refinished, however, it shows to be in excellent condition. The Carfax report shows no accidents, though a damage report is noted. From the factory, this Carrera has been fitted with a rear window wiper, and upgraded 18" factory wheels that wear a set of Goodyear tires which are currently in need of replacement. There was a question about the color of the floor mats, they are blue and faded, (original)they should be replaced. Its a matter of getting the interior code and making a phone call to get the right match. There are many shades of blue. this is a deep blue interior.
I would also like to note the car is Metallic Silver. Some of the photos make it look white. The video represents the color well. If you want the best silver color, this is it!!

Something else that I looked for was a car that spent its days on nice flat long roads, not the rough roads of NY. This car spent most of its time in Ohio and Jupiter Florida. Since I have owned this car it has never been south of the Gold coast of Long Island.
@porsche1999 I also wanted to mention the turbo front, side skirts and rims are super rare. u wont find this combo again.
@porsche1999 The ac blows super cool the sunroof works fine and the rear spoiler pops up at 70 mph. It's very cool to see that pop up in the rear view mirror. The car makes turns seem like a straight line. the six speed is a must. dont ever consider this year in an automatic, u will be disappointed.

the rims do not have a scratch on them. that told me how meticulous the previous owner was.
@H20kooold Sure, I believe a few spots by the doors , possibly wheel wells, I did my own due diligence when i bought the car last spring. i am sure it was a few dings here and there. the car looks amazing.
i only have a two-car garage and my wife insists she getting one of them this winter, the other garage has another collector car. This car has been garaged its whole life from what i can tell and i am not leaving outside. it has a ton of options. plenty of power. the tires have plenty of tread they are just older but in good shape. the noted damage was from a windshield that was replaced due to a rock hitting it . u can see that in the carfax
