This first-generation 1999 Porsche 986 Boxster is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Boxster Red Special Leather interior and is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission. This Boxster showcases an Arctic Silver Metallic finish, complemented by a black convertible top. Equipment includes a pop-up spoiler, “986” badging on the rear decklid, and factory 17” 996 Twist wheels featuring colored Porsche crested center caps and Sumitomo tires that were mounted in March 2021. The seller notes minor scrapes on the underside of the front bumper and a new convertible roof approximately 1 year ago. The interior features Boxster Red Special Leather upholstery complemented by a painted rear center console and aluminum-trimmed shifter and handbrake lever. Power is derived from a mid-mounted 2.5-liter flat-six engine, delivering up to 201 HP and 181 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 5-speed manual transmission. In 2021, the starter motor was rebuilt, new brake pads were installed and the clutch was replaced along with the rear main seal, spark plugs, ignition coils, ignition lock/switch, engine mounts, and an LN Engineering IMS bearing. Additionally, an oil change was recently carried out.
