We are pleased to present this 2000 BMW E52 Z8 Roadster finished in Titanium Silver Metallic over a Sport Red and Black Nappa leather interior. Designed by Henrik Fisker, the Z8s styling pays homage to the classic BMW 507 Roadster of the 1950s, blending timeless aesthetics with modern technology.  It utilizes a lightweight aluminum chassis paired with the legendary S62 V8 borrowed from the E39 M5. The Z8 became an instant automotive icon following its role as the hero car in the 1999 James Bond film, The World is Not Enough. One of approximately 2,500 examples delivered to the U.S. and only 1,262 examples produced in this iconic color combination worldwide, this Z8 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York while showing just over 18k miles on the odometer.

This Z8 comes finished in Titanium Silver Metallic (354) with a black soft top.  It is reported to have been garage kept and sparingly driven throughout its life, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The Z8 follows the characteristic traits of a BMW roadster with its long hood, short overhangs, and seating position almost directly above the rear axle. Evoking the styling of the BMW 507, the Z8 also features a two-piece chrome-trimmed grille, chrome side fender vents with BMW roundels, and dual chrome exhaust tips protruding from the rear bumper. The encapsulated black-housing headlights are equipped with xenon bulbs, while the taillights use neon tubing that illuminates quicker than standard bulbs and is designed to last the lifetime of the vehicle. This example retains its factory 18” Style 59 double-spoke forged light-alloy wheels that are mounted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.

The interior of this Z8 is appointed with Sport Red and Black (P1SP) Nappa leather upholstery covering the deeply bolstered sport seats, door panels, lower dashboard, and central tunnel. Body-colored painted trim covers the upper dashboard, steering wheel airbag cover, and shifter surround.  The driver-oriented cockpit features a leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel, an aluminum shift knob, and central instrument cluster housing a 150-MPH speedometer, an 8K-RPM tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature.  All knobs, switches, and primary touchpoints are sculpted from aluminum.  The factory infotainment system is hidden behind a door located in the center stack. Driver amenities include remote keyless entry, a push-button ignition, a 10-speaker Harmon Kardon sound system, an auto-dimming interior mirror, and a passenger-side cup holder.

Under the long bonnet of the Z8 lies a 4.9L S62 V8 engine shared with the venerable E39 M5. Featuring Double-VANOS variable valve timing, quad hollow camshafts, lightweight aluminum construction, and individual throttle bodies, the S62 was factory rated at 394 HP and 368 lb.-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual gearbox and limited-slip differential, allowing the Z8 to reach 60 MPH from a standstill in approximately 4.5 seconds.  CARFAX shows regular service to have been addressed by BMW of Southampton over the last several years, and there are no outstanding maintenance items reported at this time.

This sale will include a clean title.  An automotive cultural icon, as well as a testament to BMWs heritage, craftsmanship, and engineering, this low-mileage BMW Z8 is a true collector's item.

I was selling BMW's at Crevier BMW In Santa Ana Ca when the Z8 was released. Not lauding myself, but, I am fairly certain I sold more Z8's than any other BMW salesman in the country, it was easy. In my opinion, It was and STILL IS the best car in the world.... period. Out of my league now but... if you have the resources..... buy the bloody thing and then plan a long, beautiful drive .....................

Your pictures are very good. May I ask what camera or phone you used? Any particular settings and resolutions? I need to learn how to take these before I can list my car with PCar.
