A project by Ford’s Special Vehicle Team (SVT), the F-150 SVT Lightning is a high-performance flareside pickup featuring heavy-duty brakes and suspension, an upgraded cooling system, a limited-slip differential, and a supercharged Triton V8 engine sending power to the rear wheels. This 2000 example is one of 4,966 produced for the model year and comes finished in Black Clearcoat over a Medium Graphite cloth and leather interior. It was acquired by the current owner in 2019 with less than 20k miles and is now being offered for auction out of Nevada while showing under 23k miles on the odometer.
The SVT Lightning is distinguished from a standard F-150 by unique grilles, rocker moldings, and a front fascia with integrated round fog lamps. This example is finished in Black Clearcoat and features a custom billet grille which was added by the current owner. The vehicle is said to have been garage-kept and is described to be in excellent original condition with only two minor touched-up stone chips. The special factory aluminum wheels come dressed in Nitto tires sized 295/45/ZR18, and a new matching OEM spare wheel is said to be included as well. The standard-length cab’s interior is trimmed in Medium Graphite cloth and leather upholstery and includes air-conditioning, a 6-way power driver’s seat, SVT instrumentation, power windows and door locks, a sliding rear window, and an overhead console. Other accessories include a power-tilting steering wheel, remote keyless entry, dual power mirrors, interval windshield wipers, tinted glass, and an upgraded Alpine stereo.
The SVT Lighting is powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter Triton V8 engine paired with a modified 4R100 4-speed automatic transmission and an Eaton Detroit Locker rear differential. An output of up to 360 HP and 440 lb.-ft of torque is sent to the rear wheels and stopping power comes from four-wheel disc brakes with ABS. The SVT Lightning features an upgraded engine cooling system as well as an auxiliary transmission fluid cooler and heavy-duty front and rear shock absorbers. The seller notes an upgraded Magnaflow exhaust system has been installed and the truck has received all routine maintenance according to Ford’s recommended service interval.
This sale will include the original window sticker, owner’s manuals, a spare wheel, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “The truck has been stored indoors and driven sparingly during my ownership. The sound of the Magnaflow exhaust coupled with the whine of the supercharger is intoxicating. The truck shows as new with few blemishes. Nothing has ever been hauled in the bed and the bed paint is as reflective as the exterior.”

Please take close look at my SVT Lightning. I have thoroughly enjoyed owning this exciting vehicle. You couldn’t find a new F150 that compares to this vehicle for the same money. It’s like buying a 23 year old new classic vehicle. You won’t be disappointed with this truck.
