This 2000 Porsche 996 Carrera Cabriolet comes finished in Arctic Silver over black full leather upholstery and features a 6-speed manual transmission, Litronic headlights, power-adjustable heated seats, Porsche-crested headrests, a 3-spoke Sport steering wheel, and automatic climate control. Upgraded with 19” GT2 SE wheels, a larger single-row IMS bearing, a complete clutch kit, a 997 shifter, and much more, this meticulously maintained 996 is now being offered by its seller out of Oregon with approximately 110k miles on the odometer.

This example comes finished in Arctic Silver with a black convertible soft top and features optional Litronic headlights. It rides on a set of dealer-sourced 19” GT2 SE wheels dressed in Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires installed in March 2020 and driven approximately 5k miles. The seller states that a new Robbins Twillfast (Sonnendeck) soft top with a glass rear window was professionally installed in 2021. Additionally, the hood, front bumper cover, & mirrors are said to have been refinished due to minor road wear, and front headlight surrounds have been added and paint matched. The cabin is upholstered with black full leather and features power-adjustable heated front seats, Porsche-crested headrests, a 3-spoke Sport steering wheel, and automatic climate control. The seller adds that a 997 shifter with aluminum bushings and an easily removable aftermarket phone mount have been fitted. The seller notes minor creasing in the driver’s seat, a new headliner was installed in 2021 along with the new top, some discoloration within the center console, and the center console glovebox lid has been replaced. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are reported to be working properly.

Power is derived from a replacement water-cooled naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine said to have been fitted with a larger single-row IMS bearing and a complete clutch kit at approximately 56k miles in 2008 by the specialists at Chris’s German Auto Service in Redmond, Washington. As much as 296 HP and 258 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The seller states the transmission was removed and replaced by an authorized dealer in 2013 to inspect and confirm that the larger IMS bearing was installed, and the rear main seal was replaced at this time. Work throughout 2021 (approximately 4k miles ago) is said to include brake & clutch fluids flushed, an oil & filter change, and all coolant hoses replaced. The upper idler pulley is also said to have been replaced along with a new belt installed in 2022.

This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, and an air pump.
