This 2000 Porsche 996 Carrera Coupe comes factory finished in Black over a matching interior features optional 18” Turbo-look wheels along with heated partial leather seats and Porsche-crested headrests. It remained with the original owner up until 2017 and was acquired from the second owner’s private collection based out of San Diego. Recently serviced and fortified with a new clutch, rear main seal, and IMS bearing, this 996 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California showing just over 12k miles on the odometer.

This Carrera Coupe wears a nonmetallic Black finish and factory optional 18” light alloy Turbo-look wheels with colored Porsche center crests and new tires. The seller states a new front hood was professionally painted and installed to address rock chips on the original panel. The rear decklid is also said to have been refinished after the model lettering was replaced, and the exterior is described to be in excellent overall condition. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The black interior is outfitted with optional heated partial leather seats featuring exclusive Porsche-crested headrests. Other options include an onboard computer, Hi-Fi Sound Package, black mats with Porsche lettering, and a three-spoke steering wheel in leather. The cabin is described to be in very good condition with all gauges and accessories remaining fully functional.

A naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 296 HP and 258 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. Stopping power comes from fixed 4-piston alloy calipers paired with cross-drilled brake rotors at each corner. Provided maintenance records show service completed by Rstrada Limited Inc. of California in March of 2022 including replacement of the mass airflow sensor (MAF), air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, ignition coils, coolant reservoir, clutch, flywheel, and updated IMS bearing. A corresponding invoice is provided in the gallery along with a DME report.

This sale will include the original window sticker, owner’s manuals, service records, and a clean title.

    @abs0lutexer0 Hi, happy to clarify. The hood had small dents and instead of filling and painting, we ordered a new OE hood from Germany and had it painted at a high-level shop (Arroyo Auto). Only the hood was painted - NO blending with the fenders. The VIN options tag was re-adhered in the proper location.

  • abs0lutexer0 (registered bidder) 1 year, 8 monthsago

    Regarding the statement below, I'd like to confirm that the hood has matching vin with the rest of the car. Thanks.

    @tonyagc Hi, no bore inspection but no evidence of bore scoring (dirty exhaust tips, smoke, etc.)

    The bearing is a “Dual Row RND RS kit (106-08.40R)”

    See attached photo.

  • tonyagc (registered bidder) 1 year, 8 monthsago

    Hi....Couple of questions.....Do you know what IMS bearing Rstrada used during the recent service? Also, did they perform any bore scoring scoping on any of the cylinders or see any indications of bore scoring? I know this has low mileage, but it still can occur.

    Hi all, longtime Porsche enthusiast and car guy. This is our first time selling on P Car and we're quite excited to present this near-new 996.1. We are not new to online auctions and we'll be monitoring for questions/comments. Without seeing this car in person, It's very difficult to grasp just how virgin this car is - the leather, plastics, carpet, and switches look fantastic and showroom condition. The paint is shiny and straight with nearly no imperfections. A MASSIVE service was performed at Rstrada (a certified RUF shop) in preparation for sale. If any viewers are local to Westlake Village, please reach out if you'd like to view! -Billy @ CURRUS

    @pcarmarket — I could be wrong, but believe the MY2000 3.4L M96 engine was actually factory-rated at 300 hp (unlike MY1999 and 2001).

    It is a beautiful thing.
