We are pleased to present this 2001 Ferrari 360 Modena finished in Giallo Modena over a black leather interior with yellow contrast piping.  Named after the town of Modena, Enzo Ferrari’s birthplace, the 360 is characterized by its smooth body lines, dramatic styling, and naturally aspirated V8 engine displayed under a glass rear lid.  This 2001 example came optioned with desirable Daytona seats, a Challenge-style rear grille, and Ferrari’s race-derived F1 automated manual gearbox.  It was acquired by the current owner in October of 2018 and has since undergone extensive amounts of service and preventative maintenance including a timing belt replacement, transmission rebuild, A/C compressor rebuild, new brakes, and much more.  An upgraded Formula Dynamics wiring harness was also installed along with a high-end Capristo exhaust system featuring remote-operated valves.  Currently showing just over 27,700 miles on the odometer, this beautifully appointed and well-maintained 360 Modena is being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey.

The Pininfarina-designed aluminum bodywork of this 360 comes finished in Giallo Modena and features an optional Challenge-style rear grille along with Scuderia shields on the front fenders.  The seller reports very few signs of road-going wear and notes several small stone chips on the lower front bumper as well as some rash on the back edges of each wheel well.  The windshield was replaced under the current ownership and the seller believes the front and rear bumpers to have likely been refinished at some point. Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report.  Red painted brake calipers can be seen behind factory 18” 5-spoke wheels which were dressed in a set of new Michelin Pilot Sport tires in 2019.

Inside, this 360 has been appointed with a beautiful black leather interior featuring deviated yellow piping, a factory CD changer, and optional Daytona-style sport seats.  Under the current ownership, all the common sticky surface issues were addressed, and the dashboard and airbag covers were all repaired to fix leather shrinkage.  Very minimal signs of wear are noted, and the seller reports all gauges and accessories to be fully functional.

Beneath the glass rear engine cover lies a mid-mounted 3.6 L DOHC V8 featuring dry-sump lubrication and an output of 400 HP and 276 lb.-ft of torque stock.  The rear wheels are driven by way of an F1 6-speed automated manual transmission that can be left in automatic mode or manually operated with the shift paddles mounted on the steering column.  An upgraded Capristo exhaust system has been installed which features remote-operated valves to lessen or increase the tone based on driver preference.  Since the current owner’s purchase in 2018, a full timing belt service has been performed along with the installation of new heat exchangers, charcoal emissions filters, brake pads and rotors, an F1 pump, clutch, and an upgraded drive-by-wire harness from Formula Dynamics. The transmission was also recently rebuilt in January of 2021.  Corresponding service invoices are provided for reference in the photo gallery.
