Manufactured by Chrysler from 1997 to 2002, the Prowler embodied a retro-futuristic aesthetic inspired by 1930s-era hot rods. Its sleek and unconventional appearance features an open-wheel configuration and a distinctive prow-like front end. One of 3,142 examples produced for the 2001 model year, this Prowler is one of 545 units finished in Prowler Silver Metallic. It is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California with approximately 16k miles on the odometer.

The Prowler's design draws inspiration from Chip Foose's retro-roadster concept, setting it apart as one of the few production cars for the road that embraces a racing-style open-wheel configuration. This Prowler Silver Metallic (PSA) example is equipped with a retractable black soft top and factory 17”/20” chrome wheels. It rides on Goodyear tires from 2016 with 80% remaining treat and some cracking reported. Some blemishes are noted beneath the front grille, on the hood, and the inside of the fenders. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cockpit is trimmed in black leather accented by a Prowler Silver Metallic painted dashboard with a central-mounted instrument cluster. Other features include an AutoMeter tachometer affixed ahead of the three-spoke multifunction leather steering, air-conditioning, adjustable seats with Prowler-logo backrests, an AM/FM CD cassette stereo system, and Prowler-designated floor mats.

This Prowler has an aluminum-block 3.5-liter V6 engine that sends over 250 HP to the rear wheels through a 4-speed Autostick automatic transaxle.  The drivetrain layout and lightweight aluminum construction help the Prowler to achieve an ideal 50/50 weight distribution. The seller adds that a K&N air filter has been fitted.

This sale will include a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “This 2001 power is an excellent mechanical cosmetic condition There's no sun fade, no damage.”

@TheGuesser the bottom of the grill has some marks, driver front fender on inside has some scratches as seen in the photo of you blow up, there was a 3m clear bra on the fenders and 1/4 of the hood that has been removed, the red pinstripe around the car carried over the 3m film and will be re stripped before we delivery.

@seller - Has anyone asked for or received an estimate to fix the front fascia? Other than that area, are there any other flaws, stone chips, etc. that a picky inspector would point out? Thanks in advance.
