Marking the last year of the original 996 design and its 3.4-liter engine, this 2001 Porsche 996 Carrera Coupe comes finished in Lapis Blue Metallic over Savanna Beige upholstery along with 18” Sport Design wheels and the Technic Package. Reportedly fitted with an LN Engineering IMS retrofit in March 2016, this example has recently undergone a PPI by Patrick Motorsports and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Illinois while showing approximately 68k miles on the odometer.
This example comes finished in Lapis Blue Metallic and rides on optional 18” Sport Design wheels with colored Porsche crests and ZR-rated BFGoodrich g-Force Sport tires. The Technic Package was also opted for, adding Litronic xenon headlights with washers. Window tint has been added to the side and rear windows, and the seller states the front bumper and driver’s side front fender have been refinished due to scratches. Accompanying documentation is provided in the gallery along with additional images and a clean CARFAX report.
The driver is situated within a Savanna Beige partial leather interior featuring matching Porsche-branded floor mats along with an electric sunroof. The Technic Package adds the Hi-Fi Sound System and an onboard computer.
A naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine sends 296 HP to the rear wheels by way of a desirable 6-speed manual transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is achieved in as little as 5.2 seconds while reaching top speeds north of 170 MPH. Notable service items include an LN Engineering IMS retrofit installed in March 2016 along with a new clutch & flywheel, followed by new brakes and rotors in October 2017. Additionally, a recent PPI carried out by Patrick Motorsports is provided in the gallery along with a DME report.
