Finished in Midnight Blue Metallic over a Savannah Beige full leather interior, this 2001 Porsche 996 Carrera Coupe features a 6-speed manual transmission paired with its 3.4-liter flat-six engine. It came factory equipped with optional Sport Suspension, 18” Sport Design wheels, and power Sport Seats with crested headrests along with extended leather trim. A genuine Aerokit exterior package was installed under prior ownership as well as an upgraded LN Engineering IMS bearing. Acquired by its current owner on PCARMARKET in 2019, this Carrera is now being offered for auction out of New York showing approximately 64k miles on the odometer.
The exterior is finished in Midnight Blue Metallic and features an Aerokit package including a GT3-style front fascia, flared rocker panels, and fixed rear wing. It rides on optional 18” Sport Design wheels and was specified without a rear model designation from the factory. The hood is believed to have been previously refinished and some cracks are noted on the front bumper as well as a scrape on the lower driver’s side rocker panel and general signs of road-going wear throughout. The Michelin tires are also recommended for replacement, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, this 996 features premium Savannah Beige full leather upholstery including heated power-operated Sport Seats with Porsche crested headrests. Optional extended leather upholstery also covers the ignition lock surround, speaker grilles, sun visors, center console, instrument surround, center air vent bracket, dashboard trim strip, dashboard side air vent, and Airbag module. Other options include a sound system, CD compartment, Litronic headlamps with washers, an onboard computer, and a Porsche CDR-32 radio. The lower driver’s seat bolster is torn, and some other signs of wear are visible throughout the cabin. All gauges and accessories are said to remain fully functional.
A naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 296 HP and 258 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Factory optional Sport Suspension provides improved handling and a 10mm decrease in ride height. An LN Engineering IMS bearing retrofit was carried out under prior ownership along with replacements of the clutch, rear main seal, and air/oil separator. Maintenance under current ownership included routine oil changes as well as the replacement of the coolant expansion tank and driver’s window regulator.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, two keys, a valet key, and a clean title (lien).

@vrhooptie thanks for your comment - I have also heard around ~$2K - however - a good shop can sew in that one piece - a colleague of mine has done that before and has been a car dealer for 20 years and that can save you from spending more - they aren't carbon buckets though as fyi - they are the factory sport seats with the hard backs

Nice car , still 3.4 with less than 300 horsepower will still give you a nice feel . Overall looks nice at this price point. But with no reserve you never know.
@Googlewireless what I was told when buying the car was that it was a dealer installed aerokit so in that case I believe it would be exact porsche parts. I can’t attest to when the aerokit was put on with 100% certainty however I’m very very sure it’s the exact wing, front bumper, side skirts that would be on the GT3. Hope this helps!

@rmlam I see that too - its clearly an error on the digital window sticker - according to vinanalytics its showing the 6-speed manual. Also by the extra pedal I would say its a manual transmission. thank you for spotting that!

Kudos for driving it as much as you have. I bought a 996 C4 from this site with 121,000 miles on it. After going through it with a fine toothed comb and servicing EVERYTHING, it is now my favorite car and I drive it frequently and very fast when out of town.
I’m sure the winning bidder for your 996 will enjoy just how much fun and how good these cars are.

You drove the car 40k miles in 3 years? Good for you man. These thing were meant to be driven. Did you do any track days with it?

A few items for the future owner to anticipate possibly addressing if he or she wishes:
- The driver-side seat bolster has an obvious tear and the passenger-side has a slight tear as well.
- The tires should be replaced. This would be my first order of business when picking up the car.
- The front bumper has spider cracking in the paint - I have left this unpainted for the future owner to address. The driver-side side skirt also has some scratches.
- The arm rest hinge has been broken since I bought the car.
- The window regulator was recently replaced - however the window was not aligned properly so it doesn’t go all the way down - im going to try to have this fixed before the new owner takes delivery.
- The indicator stalk works however in one direction you have to just hold it down to keep it engaged - this can be replaced but it hasn't bothered me and has been something I've gotten quite used to

From day 1 of ownership I made the decision to drive and not fret over mileage. Life is too short not to enjoy a 911 if you get the chance to own one.
