Up for auction is this low-mileage 2001 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe 6-speed. The 996 Turbo represents a tremendous value in the sports car market thanks to its legendary Mezger engine and unprecedented performance. This black on black example showcases a low-mileage along with a full front-end paint protection film application. It is now being offered in excellent condition by its seller out of California with 45k miles showing on the odometer.
Finished in Black, this Turbo’s exterior is said to be in exemplary condition. Detailed images are available in the photo gallery. This 996 Turbo boasts a factory wide-body along with integrated side vents and a retractable rear wing. The seller notes the rear wing to be non-functional at this time. Additional exterior styling cues include a rear window wiper and a set of factory 18” Turbo II wheels which come wrapped in Bridgestone Sport tires.
Inside, you will find an exceptional black full leather interior. Factory options include Heated front seats, leather sun visors, an AM/FM radio, metal door sill model insignia, light wood/aluminum brake handle and shifter, self-dimming mirrors, and parking assist. The seller states that a thicker steering wheel wrap is currently implemented. All electronics are in working order and the interior is noted to be in excellent condition.
This Turbo retains its original 3.6L twin-turbocharged Mezger engine, which is capable of producing 420HP. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission. Overall, the 996 Turbo model highlights supercar performance while also providing a very civil and enjoyable ride quality on the street. This example is said to be in excellent running and driving condition with all service up-to-date including a recent fluid and filter change. Records of service will be provided with the sale.
The sale will also include two keys, books, tools, and a certificate of authenticity.

I purchased the car with 35,500 miles. I do not have repair records prior to then but nothing has required service since I have owned it except replacing the air mass sensor and a brake light switch. Hope this helps.
Has the clutch slave cylinder and accumulator ever been replaced?
The rear wing was nonfunctional when I purchased the car. I have had a Porsche technician who owns his own shop in El Paso diagnose the problem as the motor and not the hydraulics. He also reminded me that parts will be hard to locate and that the rear wing only came up 3 1/2 inches. I decided that I could live with as is but I also realize that others may feel different.
Hope this helps, thanks for the interest.
Hi, how long has the rear wing been non-functional and do you know why it is non-functional, i.e., rams, hydraulic pump, wiring harness? Thanks.

The turbo looks like it is in excellent shape meaning the the 5 previous owners cared for the car properly. It’s really nice to see. Finally a 996 turbo with the right leather looks awesome!
Thank you, the car has been well taken care of. I have put less than 10,000 miles on it in
5 years, so it has not just sat in the garage.
Very nice pictures. The car looks clean.
Thank you for your consideration, if you have questions please let me know and I will address them. This car has performed marvelously and has required only routine maintenance. There are no leaks of any fluids anywhere and maintenance is current.
