Now up for auction is this 2001 Porsche 996 Turbo Coupe finished in Black over a black full leather interior. Equipped with a legendary 3.6 L twin-turbocharged Mezger engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, this 996 was ordered new at an original sticker price of over $120K. It is now being offered with extensive records and documentation with approximately 45k-miles showing on the odometer.
The Black finish is said to be in very nice condition with a refinishing of the front hood and bumper for cosmetic reasons. Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with paint meter readings. The 996 Turbo is characterized by its wide fenders, rear side air intakes, revised bumpers, speed-activated rear spoiler, and 18” Turbo Twist wheels which were completey refurbished in March of 2021. The seller does note that the rear spoiler is in wokring order though the spoiler alert will show intermittently. A set of General G-Max tires have been recently installed.
Inside, you will find a premium black full leather interior. Factory options include aluminum trim, stainless steel door entry guards with model logos, heated seats, digital sound package, parking assist 6-disc remote CD changer, and Porsche crests in the headrests. All factory specifications have been retained and the interior is described to be great condition with detailed images available in the photo gallery.
Power is derived from a 3.6 L twin turbocharged Mezger engine which traces its roots back to the legendary GT1 Le Mans car. All four wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission that allows for a sprint from 0-60 MPH in under 4 seconds while achieving a top speed of over 190 MPH. An aftermarket Billy Boat exhaust system has been installed along with a K&N air filter system and 996 Turbo Autothority Tune. This Turbo is said to be up-to-date on all service and highlights a brand new clutch master cylinder. Extensive records showing proper maintenance will be included with the sale.

@haripin The 996TT's are slowly, but steadily increasing in value. While they will probably always be lower than a similar-condition 997, clean 996TT's with good history are starting to sell over $60k now. ---- But that still makes it a bargain supercar. 964/993 Turbos are double that, and a good 997TT is now around $80k. If the headlights don't bother you, the 996TT is a phenomenal car. (I'm very biased though).
how much will this go for? I'll set the line at $75,000 because why not reach new heights and crazy market prices.

Thank you for checking out our 2001 996 Turbo auction. We are pleased to bring this car to Pcarmarket and interact with all interested parties. This car was traded to us on an Aston Martin and in preparation of this sale we had the car serviced, a new set of tires installed, had the wheels refinished, the hood and front bumper painted because of a few chips, and a new clutch master cylinder was installed as the old one was leaking. Included with the car is a large file of paperwork from original owner who looked after the car for about 13 years and sold it to it's previous and second owner. All the records from his ownership are included in the gallery as well as the Porsche COA and our current service records. The car runs and drives beautifully. There are a couple small scratches on the car but those are shown in the photos and video. The AC blows cold, the radio and gauges work as they should. The interior is very clean, no tears on the seats. There is some shrinkage on the gauge cluster top dash cover. Bid with confidence on this low mileage, well serviced 996 Turbo.
