Up for auction is this 2001 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe.  Quickly gaining popularity among enthusiasts, the 996 Turbo represents a tremendous value in the sports car market.  This example was originally purchased at Champion Porsche and spent most of its life in Florida until being purchased by the current owner who resides in New York.  Upon his purchase in 2013, only 13k miles were showing on the odometer.  Accordingly, 8k additional miles were driven under his ownership, making for a total of just 20k miles driven to date.  It is now being offered in excellent turn-key condition with a clear title.

This Turbo is finished in Seal Grey Metallic and as the photos show, the paint is in excellent condition.  Other than a few minor rock chips, there are virtually no flaws showing on the exterior.  The owner does report that there was an accident under his ownership.  As a result, the drivers fender was professionally replaced and refinished with an outstanding color match.  Detailed photos are located in the gallery outlining the entire front end of this Turbo including paint meter readings.  Currently installed are a set of Champion racing wheels that wear Bridgestone Potenza tires.

Inside, you will find a Graphite Grey full leather interior that features desirable Carbon Fiber and aluminum trim throughout.  It is said to stand in exceptional overall condition.  A few flaws are noted including a crack in the drivers side speaker, minor scratching near the seat buttons, and a missing carbon fiber trim piece on the dash board.  All leather stands in exceptional condition with virtually no flaws showing.  The seller does note that the passenger window does not detract on its own when you open the door which is a common issue on models of this era.  All other electronics are in working order including the center entertainment module and factory sunroof.  With an MSRP of over $133k, additional factory options include:  Supple leather, power/memory seats with lumbar support, Porsche crests in headrests, Porsche communication management, digital sound package, remote CD changer, rear center console, 3-spoke steering wheel, and metal door sills.  A copy of the window sticker is available in the photo gallery.

This Turbo retains its original 3.6L twin-turbocharged Mezger engine, which is capable of producing 420HP.  Power is sent to all four wheels via a Tiptronic automatic transmission.  Overall, the 996 Turbo model highlights super car performance while also providing a very civil and enjoyable drive for the street.  This example is said to be in excellent running and driving condition.
