In 1999, a more powerful version of Aston Martin’s DB7 grand touring car was introduced as the V12 Vantage, featuring a naturally aspirated 5.9-liter V12 producing 420 HP. This 2002 example is equipped with a rare Tremec 6-speed manual transmission and comes finished in Skye Silver over a Red full Connolly leather interior. It was sold new from Miller Motorcars of Greenwich, Connecticut, equipped with optional burr elm veneers, aluminum pedals, sports exhaust, large bore tailpipes, a heated windscreen, umbrella holders, and a satellite navigation system. The car was purchased by the seller, its third owner, in June 2023 and benefits from a recent full service, new tires, and pre-purchase inspection. Showing approximately 27k miles on the odometer, this V12 Vantage is now being offered for auction out of South Carolina.
The DB7’s bodywork was designed by Ian Callum and Jaguar’s Principal Stylist Keith Helfet, designer of the Jaguar XJ-220 supercar. The V12 Vantage model is visually distinguished from the standard DB7 by unique wing mirrors, larger front fog lamps, and Vantage badging at the rear. This example is finished in Skye Silver and comes equipped with optional large bore tailpipes and a sports exhaust. It rides on factory 18” ten-spoke wheels dressed in new Pirelli P Zero tires. The seller describes the exterior to be in excellent overall condition, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The four-seater cabin is appointed with red Connolly leather upholstery accented by burr elm veneers, grey carpeting, and an Alcantara headliner. Accessories include a black leather three-spoke steering wheel, leather-bound floor mats, drilled aluminum pedals, an engine start button, an analog clock, air conditioning, heated and power-operated seats, “DB7 Vantage” treadplates, an optional heated windscreen, an umbrella holder, a premium audio system with an aftermarket Sony Bluetooth stereo. The seller notes the original radio is included and the passenger side door handle cable was replaced under their ownership.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 5.9-liter V12 engine rated at 420 HP and 400 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission and stopping power comes from cross-drilled disc brakes at each corner. The seller notes a full service and pre-purchase inspection were recently completed along with the installation of a new battery.

@Warren funny it looked long...I have a V8V manual, but have always liked the look of these. I think it's a great alternative to a 996. Better looking, v12 power, and manual. Will be watching. N
@Footnfan I’m a Ferrari guy. Sold a 599 and bought the Aston as an interium ( loved the manual and 12 cyl) . Expect a Ferrari to come available in the next few months.
@naccer Umbrella made specifically for car and fits perfectly.
@Footnfan The original Becker radio had a cassette navigation system. I replaced it with a Sony that fits exactly in the Becker slot, but there is no screen. New system has all modern functions and sounds great, but I use my phone screen for navigation. Original Becker in box in trunk and goes with the car.
