Now up for auction is this 2020 BMW F87 M2 Competition finished in Alpine White over a Black Dakota perforated leather interior with orange stitching. Succeeding the standard M2 coupe as a more performance-oriented variant, the M2 Competition features a powerful S55 twin-turbocharged engine derived from the M3 and M4 models. This 1-owner 2020 example was custom ordered with exclusive options including the Executive Package, leather M Sport seats, and an M double-clutch 7-speed automatic transmission with Drivelogic. It is now being offered for auction in like-new condition by its seller in New York with only 534 miles showing on the odometer.
This M2 is finished in Alpine White and the paint is said to remain in pristine condition. Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery. Features unique to the Competition model include a revised front fascia with larger kidney grilles and 19" light-alloy Y-Spoke wheels which have been factory finished in gold for this example. This M2 also features gloss-black Shadow Line trim, blue brake calipers, the Executive Package which adds full LED headlights, and optional carbon fiber mirror caps, side skirt winglets, a rear spoiler, and a rear diffuser.
The cockpit is trimmed in Black Dakota perforated leather interior with deviated orange stitching and carbon/aluminum trim. Other details include leather M Sport seats, a heated steering wheel, Apple CarPlay, the Hi-Fi Harman Kardon sound system, lane departure warning, wireless charging, a WIFI hotspot, and remote keyless entry. Power is supplied by an S55 twin-turbocharged 3.0 L inline 6-cylinder engine derived from the F80 M3 and F82 M4 models. A 7-speed M double-clutch transmission with Drivelogic sends 405 HP and 406 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels allowing for a 0-60 time of approximately 4 seconds. The Competition model also offers larger disc brakes, a carbon fiber reinforced plastic strut bar, an Active M rear differential, a sport-tuned suspension, and an improved exhaust system. Additionally, the Drivelogic function allows the driver to select how long the gears are held during acceleration, and how fast the gear changes are made. Only 534 miles from new, this M2 is ready to be enjoyed.
