In 2002, as a send-off for the second-generation Viper, Dodge produced a limited run of “Final Edition” GTS coupes. All finished in Viper Red with Stone White Le Mans stripes, the Final Editions paid homage to the Viper GTS-R/T race car that was victorious at the 2000 24 Hours of Daytona. The special edition includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel with red contrast stitching, and a numbered plaque on the center console, which identifies this example as #299/350. Originally purchased in July of 2002 at Wells Dodge Chrysler of Avon Park, Florida, this Viper remained with the original owner up until 2008 and was eventually acquired by the seller in 2021. Accompanied by the original window sticker, sales documents, dealer “sold” sign, owner’s manuals, and more, this 2002 Viper Final Edition is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Louisana.
All Final Edition Vipers came finished in Viper Red Clear Coat (RN) with Stone White (PW1) Le Mans-style racing stripes. Attributes include a vented hood, fog lights, a tinted windscreen, the “double-bubble” roof, power mirrors, red Viper badging, black brake calipers with white Viper script, a polished fuel filler, an integrated rear spoiler, and center-exit dual-tipped exhaust. The 18” aluminum polished wheels wear the original Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is trimmed in black leather with bucket seats and matching trim and carpeting. The Final Edition is equipped with a black leather-wrapped steering wheel with red contrast stitching and a limitation plaque on the center console. Amenities include air conditioning, an Alpine CD stereo with a 200-watt amplifier, remote keyless entry, and white instrumentation consisting of a 7k-RPM tachometer, a 200-MPH speedometer, and auxiliary gauges on the dashboard for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and battery voltage.
The second-generation Viper is powered by an 8.0L V10, factory rated at 450 HP and 490 lb.-ft of torque, driving the rear wheels through a Tremec T56 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The Viper can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in 4.3 seconds, reaching a claimed top speed of 189 MPH. The seller reports that all maintenance is up to date including routine oil services.
This sale will include 2 sets of keys, owner’s manuals, the original window sticker, associated sales literature, a dealership “sold” sign, the original warranty card, a customer care card, and a Michelin tire warranty booklet.

Do either of the doors sag or rub when closing?
We don't have any previous maintenance records but the carfax has them listed. We have a collection of cars and maintain them accordingly as needed. Thanks

Thank you for the comment and insight. I’ve always liked the way this car drove compared to the earlier gen 2 I drove. Plus the red and white is beautiful in person IMO. I think this would be a great addition to anyones collection
While some have contemplated the Final Edition connection to the 24 Hrs of Daytona win in 2000 because of the color scheme, the Viper team and marketing did not (as far as I have found) linked this to the Daytona win. The only Vipers made to commemorate any of the numerous race wins was the 1998 Viper GT2 White with Blue stripes. This Viper comes with some nice documentations and will be a nice addition to any collection. If buyer plans to drive at all, please check the power steering pulling. GLWS - Fine Piece...
