Renowned for its off-road prowess and opulent cabin, the Mercedes-Benz G500 showcases a robust 5.0-liter V8 engine and locking differentials, ensuring dependable performance with a simple design compared to newer iterations. This 2002 example comes wrapped in a matte green protective film atop a black finish over a black leather interior and has been tastefully modified with a full front facelift, a Brabus hood scoop, wider OEM Mercedes-Benz flares, upgraded headlights and taillights, a Front Runner roof rack and ladder, 19” AMG 5-spoke wheels, and more. Showing just over 137k miles on the odometer, this G500 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.
This example features a matte green protective film wrap, concealing its black refinish. It has undergone several exterior enhancements, including a full front facelift, addition of a Brabus hood scoop, installation of wider OEM Mercedes-Benz flares with new rubber seals, upgraded headlights and taillights, LED running lights, dark front turn signal lights, and a Front Runner roof rack and ladder. It rides on a new set of 19” AMG 5-spoke wheels with Pirelli PZero Scorpion tires driven less than 3k miles. A new spare tire is mounted on the swing-out rear cargo door. There are minor imperfections in the paint protection film, which exhibits slight bubbles and minor scratches at nearly two years old. Detailed images are provided in the gallery, along with a CARFAX report, which indicates damage reports throughout 2014, 2015, and 2017 without airbag deployment.
The interior features heated power-adjustable front seats upholstered in black leather, complemented by walnut trim on the center console and door panels. Additional amenities include a heated rear bench seat, cruise control, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The seller mentions that the interior wood trim, radio screen, and carpers have been recently replaced and remain in new condition. All gauges and electronics are confirmed to be in working order.
The 5.0-liter M113 V8 engine delivers a factory-rated 292 HP and 336 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and locking front, center, and rear differentials. Routine maintenance was performed at approximately 135,000 miles, including an oil and filter change with Mobil oil and filter, new spark plugs, coils, and a serpentine belt. Additionally, all fluids were flushed and replaced. At 136,643 miles, the air conditioning compressor and drier were replaced, along with the left rear window regulator and right rear door latch.
This sale will include the owner’s manuals, a spare tire, original headlights and taillights, older coils, a factory radio, new carbon fiber door handle covers, miscellaneous parts, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for visiting my auction. To the future buyer of this car, please know that you are purchasing a very unique G-Wagon that turns heads wherever it goes and always receives many thumbs up and compliments. If you want the perfect off-roader, all you need are some all-terrain tires. The car is mechanically perfect and deserves someone who will drive it through the mountains on crazy adventures.”

This car is a fantastic example guys. Zero rust which is probably the most important, you know how hard it is to find these cars without rust.
I spent more than $20k during my ownership.

@Dluxor1 grills are actually painted
@Dluxor1 If you check the Carfax report, you'll see that the last reported damage was in 2017, and I took ownership in 2021. While it's true that the hood scoop doesn't match the rest of the car perfectly, matching paint with a wrap color is quite challenging. However, the slight difference in tone actually gives it a unique and cool look.

Bid in the amount of $11,250
Also are the updated grills and bumpers painted black underneath or just vinyl wrapped over the primer?
I see so they couldn’t paint match it to match the wrap properly hence the color difference. Did all the accidents occur under your ownership?
@Dluxor1 The hood scoop is an authentic part from Brabus. The car is wrapped, and the hood scoop is painted to match the wrap.
Why does the color of the hood scoop not match the rest of the car? I’m assuming these are not authentic brabus parts correct?

@Caketits thank you I meant
Thank yoy
@Caketits The AC in the car works great. A new A/C compressor and dryer were installed last month, and the entire system was serviced (there's a receipt for this in the gallery). All electronics are functioning properly.
How is the AC and are there any issues with the electronics?
Bid in the amount of $10,000
@irishkpo I can definitely assist you with shipping within the United States.
@Rockster80 The Brabus hood is primarily a cosmetic upgrade and it is bolted onto the existing hood. Unfortunately, I no longer have the original set of wheels or the grille.
Need to know if you can assist with shipping in the US since I'll be in Europe the next three weeks.... Otherwise I wouldn't be able to pick it up until the end of June.
@aircooledcollection
Good morning. A few simple questions,
Is the Brabus hood simply a mounted facade and not a functional scoop? How is it affixed?
Do you still have the original chrome grill and original rims as shown in the photos when the G was black?
Thanks

Hello everyone, thank you for checking out my car. Please feel free to ask any questions regarding the car. I am currently out of Miami, but I have my laptop with me and will be checking for questions and adding more information to the listing regularly as:
- Old pictures of the car before any modifications
- Pictures of the car before the green matte wrap was applied
- Recent invoices
- Driving video and walk-around video
- List of some expenses for services, new parts, and modifications
