Up for auction is this 2002 Porsche 996 GT2, one of only 305 examples ever produced for North America. With only 3k miles, a 6-speed manual transmission, and the iconic Mezger engine, this example represents an incredible opportunity for the discerning Porsche collector. This particular example was originally delivered new to its first owner in Hawaii. The car was kept in a climate-controlled garage during its stay and eventually made its way to Montana.
The Arctic Silver paint is said to be in exceptional condition. The 996 GT2 stands out over the regular Turbo with its enlarged fixed rear wing, more pronounced front lip, and lowered ride height. Adding to its already aggressive stance are enlarged ducts on the front facia and large intakes just beyond the doors. Keeping the car planted is a set of 18” turbo twist wheels finished in their factory silver color and wear a set of new Michelin tires.
The interior of this GT2 means business with its minimalist nature. Inside, you will find black leather with black carpeting which complements the aluminum instrument faces. Additionally, the rear seats were deleted from the factory which helps shed extra weight over the standard Turbo. All functions and accessories are said to be in working order.
The 996 GT2 is capable of reaching 60mph in under 4 seconds with a top speed of almost 200 mph. This outstanding pace is achieved by a factory twin turbocharged 3.6 L flat-six Mezger engine, which produces approximately 456 horsepower. This power is delivered to the rear wheels 6-speed manual transmission. In order to curtail this horsepower, this 996 is equipped with PCCB Carbon Ceramic Brakes. The seller notes that all service is up-to-date with a recent fluid and filter change.
The sale of this GT2 will include two keys, all books, service records, and a clean Carfax. Here is the chance to own one of the lowest mileage 996 GT2's in the world.

I doubt there is a lower mileage GT2 in the US. Beautiful. Might be worth $400K in 5 years.

@Tcockerham the rubberized knobs all due that, regardless of mileage but more on age. my 03' 13k same issue with the knobs. The little ding looks like a ring mark. Can find a replacement cdr for pennies.
Is there any story behind what looks to be an unusual amount of wear on the radio face and controls for a car only driven 3.5k miles?

Love the car. Most powerful looking pedestrian-friendly, street-legal wing PORSCHE ever made. And an engine whos HP numbers matches its LbFt torque numbers while retaining a curvy-sexy body design with the ability to actually go 200 MPH in factory-stock form.

I had an 02 and sold it last year I can tell ya you won't regret buying this one I can tell ya she felt fast on 100% stock form. Rare beast!
