Now available for auction is this 2002 Porsche 996 Turbo Coupe finished in Black over a Graphite Grey full leather interior. Equipped with a highly sought-after 6-speed manual transmission, this Turbo was configured at an original sticker price of over $154k and showcases rare factory options including deviated stitching and carpet, Porsche Communication Management (PCM), the Carbon Package, heated Sport Seats, carbon door sill insignias, the Engine Performance Package (X50), and Turbo Aerokit (XAF). This exceptionally well-appointed 996 Turbo shows just over 12,800 miles on the odometer and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Rhode Island.
This 996 is finished in nonmetallic Black and sports the factory Exclusive Turbo Aerokit (XAF) which includes flared side skirts, a painted front spoiler, and a larger rear wing. Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. Factory 18” Turbo wheels have been retained and feature optional colored Porsche center crests. The seller reports that a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport tires will be mounted and balanced prior to sale.
Inside, this 996 has been generously appointed with a Graphite Grey full leather interior featuring the Carbon Package and deviated carpeting in black as well as deviated stitching on the dashboard, seats, and door panels. The heated front Sports Seats also feature Exclusive Porsche crested headrests. Other factory options include carbon/aluminum inlays for the shifter and brake handle, a 3-spoke steering wheel in leather and carbon fiber, a rear center console in carbon fiber, aluminum instrument dials, carbon door sill insignias, Porsche Communication Management (PCM), and a remote 6-disc CD changer. This 996 is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six Mezger engine featuring the optional X50 Turbo Power Kit which adds revised tuning as well as larger turbochargers and intercoolers for an output of up to 444 HP. All four wheels are driven by way of a desirable 6-speed manual transmission allowing for a 0-60 time of approximately 4 seconds. @MezgerTT sorry it took so long I went out to check the front, hood, lower front end, both
Fenders, I found out that there’s about 6 pencil tip size I will say chips but they are exceptionally small its a Black Car either you love them or you don’t get them. It’s truly a personal thing
Small very small a few light swirls that show under the inside lighting .
I checked the windshield for stone chips again very very small . 12,845 miles

@mhog Thank you. Since the car doesn’t have PPF, can you describe the bumper, hood and fenders relative to rock chips, even if touched up. Also, any chips in the windshield or other damage to the car or paint? Generally a particular owner always knows the flaws of his/her own car as small as they may be. Thank you.

@mhog no disrespect intended. Your car in it’s spec and condition would probably be impossible to find on the road today. It’s just a numbers game. Over 20,000 996 turbos were produced with and without X50 and XAF. Only just over 1500 turbo S’s were made.
I’m a huge fan of the Aerokit almost to an obsession. All my 911’s are B/B and factory kitted thus my attraction to this one.
Your car definitely stands out in the crowd.
@Mercyhealth I’m really not sure if the statement about the 996 turbo S is totally true because this is in my opinion is the rarest and a all around better optioned car. All though I love the turbo S just as much you can't go wrong with either. Anything I can do ask me.

@irija thank you for placing a real bid on this 996. If the car is all that it appears to be then the winner better have a healthy budget. Classic black/black with factory aero calls to me like a siren of the sea. Though this one is not as rare as a 996 turbo S it’s got all the juice you need.
