@siabond26 Ironically, the seller lives 3 miles from me! He drove the car over on Monday and let me and a friend look over the entire car for 45 minutes.....there were no doubts after going over the car. No paint work and a very clean underside. Great seller!

Thank you all for your interest in this amazing car. I have sent the service records that I have, the DME report, and Porsche pre-owned certified inspection records to PCAR to redact my personal information and load for your review.

@smithvolvo as I am sure you are aware, every brand of paint meter is always a hair different. Also if you aren't holding it perfectly flat you could get a variation. Readings seem comfortable enough for me, just an educated onlooker not bidding on this one. Good luck to all.

  • VFPorsche (registered bidder) 3 years, 2 monthsago

Those paint meter readings suggest previous paintwork. The reason I asked to see pictures was to identify if there was paintwork and where. With no specifics given I am out. GLWA

  • smithvolvo (registered bidder) 3 years, 2 monthsago

Clarity in this auction would be helpful to both buyer and seller. Where did the paint meter read 6 plus readings? Original paint in my years of Porsche experience seldom reads higher than 5. I want to bid, but there are unanswered questions.

  • Trappistmonk (registered bidder) 3 years, 2 monthsago

@btonilas i believe that most bidders (me included when I feel a bid is warranted) would like to see the full service documents before placing a bid. After you win the auction, it is good to have the service documentation, but it does not help forming an opinion on the car during the auction. Especially given the carfax history from the previous auction. But it is your car, if you feel that uploading the service documents will not help the bidding, that is totally fine.

  • btonilas (seller) 3 years, 2 monthsago

@Trappistmonk Service documents are available for review by successful bidder should the reserve be met. Service has primarily been performed by the same service center for the life of the car. PCCB's in good condition. There are no cracks in them

  • Trappistmonk (registered bidder) 3 years, 2 monthsago

Will any service documents be uploaded? What is the condition of the PCCB’s? Any cracks?

  • btonilas (seller) 3 years, 2 monthsago

@VFPorsche I struggled getting accurate meter readings while trying to photo. because measuring requires maintaining the gage as near perpendicular as possible to the body. I took two readings each on the roof, front hood, each of the doors, and each of the 4 quarter panels. The readings ranged from 3.9 to 6.2 mils.

  • btonilas (seller) 3 years, 2 monthsago

@zf It is super windy here and with stuff blowing around, tree branches breaking, road debris blowing around, I will re-schedule paint metering until tomorrow unless the wind dies down considerably in the next couple of hours.

  • 88clubsport (registered bidder) 3 years, 2 monthsago

@btonilas ..... sent again but if it does not come through, I am a few miles from you in Littleton. Can I view the car in person? Pcar will not allow me to share my email address so DM me back please. Thanks, Craig

  • btonilas (seller) 3 years, 2 monthsago

    @88clubsport I didn’t

  • btonilas (seller) 3 years, 2 monthsago

@zf I will try to get it tomorrow

  • zf (registered bidder) 3 years, 2 monthsago

@VFPorsche +1, will also be waiting on the paint meter before bidding

  • 88clubsport (registered bidder) 3 years, 2 monthsago

@btonilas.......Sent you a DM yesterday, did you get it?

  • burnrubr (registered bidder) 3 years, 2 monthsago

@VFPorsche I am unaware of any paint work or body panel replacement or repair

  • VFPorsche (registered bidder) 3 years, 2 monthsago
