Finished in Slate Grey Metallic over a Black full leather interior, this 2002 Porsche 996 Turbo features a 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission mated to its twin-turbocharged Mezger flat-six engine. The car was configured at an original sticker price of over $136k including optional supple leather seats with Porsche-crested headrests, aluminum instrument dials, inner sills in leather, and carbon fiber trim covering the steering wheel, rear center console, and door entry guards. It was originally owned in Santa Monica, California, and spent time in San Antonio, Texas before being acquired by the current owner in Phoenix, Arizona about two years ago. This 996 Turbo is now being offered for auction with approximately 96k miles on the odometer.
This 996 is finished in Slate Grey Metallic and is distinguished as a 911 Turbo model by its wider fenders, unique bumper design, integrated side air intakes, and speed-activated rear spoiler. Other equipment includes red-painted brake calipers, a front chin spoiler, body-colored headlight covers, a rear window wiper, an electric sunroof, dual exhaust outlets, and custom chrome model lettering on the rear decklid. It rides on factory 18” 911 Turbo wheels that were mounted with new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires within the last 5k miles. The seller notes that paint meter readings suggest the front fenders have been refinished and describes the exterior to be in excellent overall condition with professional detailing, paint correction, and ceramic coating completed in January 2022. The Black full leather interior features optional supple leather seats with optional Porsche-crested headrests, heating, and lumbar support. Other options include a three-spoke steering wheel in leather and carbon fiber, carbon fiber door sills with model insignias, a rear center console in carbon fiber, inner sills in leather, and aluminum instrument dials. The stereo has been upgraded with a double-din Kenwood DDX9907 head unit with navigation and satellite radio connectivity as well as a wireless phone charger and a universal HomeLink module integrated into the dashboard. The seller notes the A/C foam was repaired in September 2022 and the steering wheel was restored by Craft Customs in April 2023.
A twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 415 HP and 415 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels by way of a 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission with steering wheel mounted shift buttons. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH takes place in less than 5 seconds with a top speed of 185 MPH. The seller indicates all major service has been completed by authorized Porsche dealers including spark plugs replacements and front brake calipers rebuilt by Porsche of San Antonio in January 2021.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, an air pump, a battery charger, some service records, and a clean title.

@Autotrend Please look at the video, you can see the color changes as the video moves. Look at the rear quarter and compare that to the rear bumper cover. But other shots show the same color.

@Nashvegas Thank you for the question. The panels are the same color. I am told Slate Gray has a small amount of pearl and depending on the angle of viewing it appears different. The paint meters on the doors and rear quarters are the same. I will upload the file with the paint meter readings tomorrow.
Why is the passenger door a different color than the adjacent panels? Repair / repaint?
