Designated as the first chassis produced for the model year, this 2003 Acura NSX-T is one of 7 U.S. market examples to have come finished in New Formula Red over an Onyx leather interior.  It was sold new from Go Acura of Kentwood, Michigan, and came equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox, limited-slip differential, a removable targa top, and forged 17” wheels. A fine example of the iconic NA2-generation NSX, this Acura is now being offered for auction by its seller out of North Carolina showing under 9k miles on the odometer.

This NSX-T comes finished in New Formula Red with a matching removable roof panel.  Other features include projector-beam xenon HID headlamps, side air intakes, gold-painted brake calipers, and a body-integrated rear spoiler with LED brake light.  The seller reports the car to have been garage-kept throughout its life while preserved with clear paint protection film over the front bumper, hood, and fenders. The factory silver-painted 17” forged alloy wheels come dressed in Yokohama S Drive tires, additional images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report.

Inside, Onyx leather upholstery stretches from the power-adjustable bucket seats to the door panels, dashboard, and center console.  The stainless-steel door sills read the serial number “3T000001”.  Driver amenities include a premium Bose sound system, automatic climate control, cruise control, and power door mirrors.  The cabin is described to be in excellent condition with all factory accessories remaining fully functional including the original cassette stereo.

The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual gearbox paired with a 3.2-liter C23B V6 engine producing up to 290 HP and 224 lb.-ft of torque stock.  An aftermarket exhaust system has been fitted and the car comes factory equipped with a limited-slip differential, 4-wheel ventilated disc brakes, double wishbone suspension, and electric-assisted power steering.  The seller states maintenance records are available showing routine oil changes throughout the years with no major services required. The original timing belt is equipped, and the seller has offered to replace this item upon the next owner’s request.

This sale will include service records and a clean title.

@jbenz05 as noted below, the timing belt and the water pump are NOT defective. this car runs and drives as it should.

one of the watchers mentioned wanting the water pump replaced since it is original from 2003. this car does not leak coolant nor does it overheat. if you are in a rush to receive and drive this vehicle after auction, I can offer reimbursement at what it would cost OUR Service shop to perform repair and you can apply that to a local acura dealership or other shop of your choosing.

unfortunately, I cannot promise to have this vehicle to you in 7 days servicing it at our dealership because we are not an Acura dealership. We sell and service Ferrari, McLaren, Porsche and Lamborghini. it could take us time to get our hands on OEM Parts for this vehicle. Parts are hit or miss these days which I am sure you are aware of.

  • jbenz05 (registered bidder) 1 year, 10 monthsago

@TLNC18 ok so you doing full timing belt service including all oil seal as well ? And you would have available the receipt of timing belt service with parts ? Also when will the timing belt service perform cause if I win the bids I want the car ready within 7 days ..So want to make sure you have the parts ready to install...

  • TLNC18 (seller) 1 year, 10 monthsago

@jbenz05 No, we have a full service shop at our dealership with over a 100 years of combined tech experience.

Our shop handles everything from an annual service to TT Lamborghini builds.

@JIAN I am waiting on our service manager to return my phone call. I will respond once I hear back!

  • JIAN (registered bidder) 1 year, 10 monthsago

Thanks for clarification. What would you charge for the service.

  • TLNC18 (seller) 1 year, 10 monthsago

@JIAN article states we will replace the timing belt at buyers request. Our techs have inspected the vehicle and marked vehicle ready for sale. they only noted that the timing belt was original and may need to be replaced in the future if a buyer was planning on running the miles up. Otherwise, this car is ready to be driven with our without the timing belt replacement.

According to our certified techs, the water pump works as it should. No need to replace unless a buyer wants it replaced.
