Up for auction is this 2003 Aston Martin DB7 V12 Vantage Volante finished in metallic black over a brown Connolly leather interior. An elegant and refined grand tourer, the DB7 was one of Aston Martin’s most successful sports cars and is on its way to becoming a classic collector's item. Equipped with the more powerful V12 engine and a highly desirable 6-speed manual transmission, this 2004 Vantage Volante shows just over 13k-miles on the odometer and is now being offered for auction by its current owner out of New York.
This DB7 is finished in a metallic black color with a matching black convertible soft top. Designed by Ian Callum and Keith Helfet, the DB7 was the only Aston Martin to have been produced at the factory in Bloxham, Oxfordshire, which is also where the Jaguar XJ220 supercars were built. The V12 model distinguishes itself from the standard DB7 with unique exterior mirrors, large front fog lights, and specialized “Vantage” badging on the rear end. The seller reports this DB7 to have been garage kept throughout their ownership, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. This example retains factory 19” alloy wheels that come dressed in Yokohama tires.
Inside, you will find a beautifully crafted brown Connolly leather interior with brown carpeting and wood veneers. Some notable details include aluminum pedals, a leatherbound shift knob, suede headliner, white instrument dials, Aston Martin logo floormats, and “DB7 Vantage” placards affixed to both doorsills. An aftermarket Alpine radio and JL Audio amplifier have been installed and the driver is supplied with full power accessories, heated seats, air conditioning, and pushbutton ignition.
This Aston Martin is equipped with a naturally aspirated 5.9L V12 engine that sends as much as 420 HP and 400 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a TREMEC T-56 6-speed manual gearbox. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is achieved in approximately 5 seconds with a top speed of over 180 MPH. Some service history is provided on CARFAX and the seller reports the battery to have been recently replaced. An oil change was also carried out in February of 2021 with barely 50 miles driven since.
This sale will include a key set, an original Aston Martin umbrella, and a clean Florida title. With its 6-speed manual gearbox, robust V12 engine, and top-down driving experience, this DB7 may very well be the Aston Martin you've been searching for.
