Finished in Basalt Black Metallic over Graphite Grey leather, this 2003 Porsche 996 Carrera Cabriolet pairs a 6-speed manual transmission with its naturally aspirated flat-six. It was also factory specified with 18” Light Alloy Carrera wheels, the Bose High-End Sound Package, Power Seat Package, Xenon Headlamp Package, aluminum instrument dials, and more. Showing under 33k miles on the odometer, this 996 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.
This example comes finished in Basalt Black Metallic with a matching convertible top. It rides 17" 996 10-spoke wheels dressed in tires from 2017 with 85% remaining tread reported. The Xenon Headlamp package was also opted for. A 1/2” scratch is identified on the rear bumper. According to the paint meter readings, the seller notes a light respray was applied to the right door and front hood. Detailed images are shown in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing minor damage to the right front in June 2017.
The cabin presents Graphite Grey standard leather upholstery complemented with optional aluminum instrument dials. Other options include left-seat lumbar support, the Power Seat Package, a remote 6-disc CD changer, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and Graphite Grey floor mats. A body-colored center console has been added. Since the seller’s purchase in the summer of 2022, a replacement of a window regulator and repairs to the seat switches have been reported.
A naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 320 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Stopping power is handled by fixed four-piston brake calipers paired with cross-drilled rotors front and rear. The seller states that the IMS bearing was addressed approximately 12 years ago (12k miles) at an authorized Porsche dealership, although no corresponding documentation is available. Additional service items reported upon the seller’s acquisition are said to include the convertible top cylinders replaced, a convertible top calibration, a clutch pedal helper spring replacement, tire balancing, and an oil change using Mobil1 5W-50.
This sale will include a clean title, owner's manuals, and sales literature.

@dwatts Hi, that's probably picture....respray on the door and the hood is actually very good quality( hood shows 4.2-5 and door numbers are between 5-5.8). You really need to have an eye to find an evidence of respray. For the IMS there is no paperwork or evidence ,sorry. I was told it was replaced aprox 12 years ago. If, I would be personally buying that car I would replace it just for piece of mind. IMS is anyhow recommended to be replaced every 5-7 years max as a part of service/maintenance...Thank you

Re: the overspray comment. The finish appears to be a little dull. Is there an unevenness to the paint?
