We are pleased to offer this 2003 Porsche 996 Carrera 4S Coupe finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Graphite Grey full leather interior. With its Turbo-derived styling, brakes, and lowered sport-tuned suspension, the Carrera 4S remains one of the most desirable models of the 996 generation.  This 2003 example was configured at an original cost of over $88k with a 6-speed manual transmission, the Bose High-End Sound Package, supple leather seats, Porsche crested headrests, the Aluminum/Chrome Package, and Custom Tailoring.  Having undergone a recent full service including the installation of a new clutch and upgraded LN Engineering IMS bearing, this 996 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Arkansas with just under 26k miles showing on the odometer.

This Carrera 4S is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and features wide fenders, Turbo-style bumpers, and a model-specific reflector band between the taillights.  The car is said to have been recently polished and detailed, and the seller notes a small chip on the inside of a door jamb.  Additional images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.  Exclusive stainless steel tailpipes are equipped as part of the Aluminum/Chrome Package and 996 retains its factory 18” Turbo-Look wheels which come dressed with optional colored Porsche center crests and new Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires.

The cabin has been generously appointed with Graphite Grey full leather upholstery including supple leather front and rear seats, a storage compartment lid with an embossed Carrera logo, and Exclusive Porsche crested headrests.  Other factory options include heated front seats, self-dimming mirrors w/ rain sensor, and the Aluminum/Chrome Package which includes aluminum-look instrument faces and stainless-steel door entry guards with model logos.  Some typical signs of wear are noted on plastic trim pieces and the seller confirms all gauges and accessories to be fully functional.

The naturally aspirated 3.6L flat-six engine features VarioCam Plus variable intake timing and was factory rated at 320 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through a desirable 6-speed manual transmission providing for a 0-60 time of approximately 4.8 seconds.  Compared with the standard Carrera 4, the 4S also features a lower and firmer suspension as well as large 4-piston monobloc brakes borrowed from the Turbo model. Shortly before the seller’s acquisition earlier in 2021, a service was carried out including new spark plugs, drive belts, and an oil change.  More recently, another full service was performed including the installation of a new clutch and upgraded LN Engineering IMS bearing. Images of the undercarriage are provided in the gallery.

This sale will include a set of two keys, the original owner's books and window sticker, some service records, a Porsche Tequipment car cover, and a clean title (lien).  The Porsche 996 generation is becoming increasingly sought after, do not miss your chance to own this recently serviced Carrera 4S 6-speed with desirable factory options.

    @buccicone great question! It is the LN Engineering single to double row Pro Conversion. That is the up to date IMS Bearing replacement the LN Engineering has to offer.

    @Mercyhealth unfortunately I don’t have anymore records. However, I know the car has been in Little Rock since 2009 and I know the previous owner well. The local Porsche mechanic has known the car since the previous owner acquired it and has preformed normal oil changes and maintenance.

    @urbancowboy501 Do you have any other supporting mechanical or maintenance records. CarFax is not helpful shows one oil change and a lot of passing emission tests. I’m sure there has been more. The car looks great. I guess Arkansas is similar to Wisconsin where reporting of mileage is not required at registration.

    Ok I know the Holiday is coming (and 3 days till the block) but really low bids thus far
    996 C4S
    Low miles
    IMS and new clutch (a little early for the clutch but when you are there with a bearing switch why not)
    Full leather with crest on seats not to mention the model on the storage compartment which is pretty uncommon and looks cool.
    Excellent exposed pictures of the brakes, suspension, and undercarriage
    White dials (my favorite)
    Both keys
    Finally the car is in the middle of the country so shipping is not so onerous
    Not in judgement only comparison. A similar car with twice the miles along with similar days before the block bid is above 30k.

    Give the seller some cred!

    @stupendous Thank you for the kind words! There is nothing that will be needing attention in the next 6-12 months. I am the 5th owner of the car. The car has been in Little Rock since 2009 and babied.

  • stupendous (registered bidder) 2 years, 10 monthsago

    Beautiful car! Is there anything that will be needing attention in the next 6-12 months? And are you just the second owner? Thanks! GLWTA!

    @ggraves427 *looks

  • urbancowboy501 (seller) 2 years, 10 monthsago

    @ggraves427 It like it was in the shop enjoying the treatment of a new IMS Bearing and Clutch that weekend.

  • urbancowboy501 (seller) 2 years, 10 monthsago

    @ggraves427 No sir.

    Did I see this car at the Mecum auction in Tulsa?

  • urbancowboy501 (seller) 2 years, 10 monthsago

    @SG_TC The title is held at the local bank that I financed the car with. Upon completion of the auction and payment to the bank the title will be released. Does that help or answer your question?

  • SG_TC 2 years, 10 monthsago

    Hi Carter, do you have more information about the lien on the vehicle?

  • urbancowboy501 (seller) 2 years, 10 monthsago

    @Mercyhealth Thank you very much for the bid! I appreciate you taking interest in the car. If there is anything I can do please let me know.

    @urbancowboy501 Just a different group of players on Pcarmarket versus other auction sites. Usually by this time so early in the auction the bid would be around 10k. Oh well there’s a long time to go. This is a fine example of the gen 5 911 variant and should do great. Good Luck
