Available for auction is this 2003 Porsche 996 Turbo Coupe finished in Speed Yellow over a black full leather interior. Carrying a powerful twin-turbocharged Mezger flat-six paired with a refined Tiptronic S automatic gearbox, this 996 Turbo also came optioned with Porsche crested headrests, stainless steel exhaust pipes, and exclusive aluminum inlays for the shifter and brake handle. Accompanied by the original owner’s manuals and Porsche Tequiment car care kit, this Turbo shows just over 25k miles on the odometer and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Colorado.
This Turbo comes finished in the eye-catching shade of Speed Yellow and features removable front bumperettes, a rear window wiper, and optional stainless-steel exhaust pipes. The 996 Turbo is characterized by wide bodywork, a revised front fascia with large air inlets, rear fenders with integrated air intakes, and a rear spoiler with a speed-activated splitter wing. The CARFAX report shows an accident to have occurred in 2006 followed by damage to the front end in 2011, although no further details are provided. This 996 has been lowered and rides on a set of factory 18” Turbo wheels with optional colored center caps and Sumitomo HTR Z5 tires.
Inside, you will find a black leather interior with optional Porsche crest embossed headrests, metal door sills with Turbo lettering, and aluminum inlays for the handbrake lever and Tiptronic gear selector. The Turbo came standard with full leather upholstery, automatic climate control, an Alcantara headliner, and a Bose audio system. Porsche Communication Management (PCM) is equipped and all gauges and accessories are reported to be fully functional.
Power is derived from a 3.6L twin-turbocharged Mezger flat-six engine that traces its roots back to the legendary GT1 Le Mans car. All four wheels are driven through a 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic gearbox that allows for both automatic and manual gear changes using either the gear selector or shift buttons located on the steering wheel. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is achieved in under 5 seconds while reaching a top speed over 180 MPH. All available maintenance history is provided on CARFAX including a major 40k-mile service completed by Porsche Monmouth in 2018 and another recommended service carried out by Porsche Chantilly in March of 2021.

The bumperettes are fastened to the grill, I'll will pull one off in the morning to see if there is any shadowing for you.
The Carfax shows the Turbo has had 5 past owners. Based on my past Porsche Ownership and Experience upon inspecting the car to the best of my knowledge it appears to have not been tracked. You can see in the detailed photo's how past ownership preserved this Porsche Turbo.

Hello Todd,
Do you know whether removing the bumperettes will leave a 'shadow' on the paint, and if there are holes for the mounting hardware that will be left behind? I know a little about Porsches, and even a mite about Turbos, but no clue about this issue.
What do you know about the ownership history of the car? How many people have been involved?
And do you know if the car has ever been tracked for DE events, autocrossed or raced?

It's my my understanding the all Turbo 911/996 Series utilize the Mezger Engine.

Thank you for the interest in the Turbo. The minor accident occurred more than 10 years ago without airbag deployment. I had my painter inspect the vehicle and he noted that the factory hood appears mot to have been damaged. Also, he mentioned paint repairs were high quality.
