Benefitting from a major service in 2019 and a recent oil change, this 996 Turbo is now being offered for auction showing approximately 110k miles on the odometer by its seller out of Arizona.

This Coupe comes finished in Midnight Blue Metallic and features exclusive stainless steel tailpipes along with a set of aftermarket 19" multi-piece wheels. A ceramic coating was recently applied throughout the exterior and a removable tint has been added to the windows, additional images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing damage to the left front end in 2006 as well as another minor front-end damage in 2014.

The cabin is appointed with graphite Grey full leather upholstery accented by optional carbon-fiber trim stretching across the dashboard to the three-spoke steering wheel, gear selector, and brake handle.  The rear center console comes factory painted in Midnight Blue Metallic along with the backs of the heated Sport Seats. The instrumentation is highlighted by exclusive aluminum dials. This Turbo was also optioned with second-generation Porsche Communication Management (PCM 2.0). Cracks are depicted in the carbon fiber trim along with some other signs of wear throughout the cabin.

Paired with the optional X50 Turbo Powerkit, the twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six Mezger engine produces up to 444 HP and 457 lb.-ft of torque.  All four wheels are driven through a 5-speed Tiptronic S transmission that allows for both automatic and manual gear changes while providing acceleration from 0-60 MPH in approximately 4 seconds. An upgraded intake system has been installed for increased airflow and induction sound. 19 maintenance records are shown on the CARFAX report including a major service in 2019 at 110k miles with new intake manifold gaskets, engine mounts, coolant hoses, oil cooler seals, CV boots, a water pump, thermostat, coolant hoses, and all new fluids and filters.  A recent oil and filter change was also carried out under the current ownership.

This sale will include a clean title. Powerful and highly refined even by today’s standards, this Turbo X50 offers an excellent value for any driver in search of a Porsche 996.

Hello. Is it possible to get a cold start video?

    Thank you in advance.

  • Mikey8826 (seller) 2 years, 3 monthsago

@Havenhearth I am not sure if the alignment because he out new tires on it before I bought it, knowing the collection he has, I am pretty confident he had it done. The car drives straight and does not pull at all. No rust that I can see. Exhaust looks very clean.

  • Havenhearth (registered bidder) 2 years, 3 monthsago

I'm sorry to have forgotten two questions, please:

Following up on the alignment question: was the car brought back into correct alignment after the two accidents?

Is there any rust on the car, and if so, where is it?

    Thank you again,

    David

What service records are available with the car, please?

And when was a four wheel alignment last conducted?

Is there any visible damage remaining from either of the Carfax reported accidents?

Thanks in advance for your assistance,

    David

@68912Porsche Sure. Just let me know where and if you win.

With the way the market has been going on standard 996’s I’ve actually just started looking at turbos. Question: if I was to win the auction and we agreed on the price, would it be possible to have ppi done at a reputable shop in your vicinity, at my expense, prior to actual purchase?

@Littlehandegan I am not sure. I just bought this and the owner did take care of the car. It was one of his collections. The car runs cool and I never had any issues since I’ve owned it.

  • Littlehandegan (registered bidder) 2 years, 3 monthsago

    Have coolant lines been pinned?

  • Mikey8826 (seller) 2 years, 3 monthsago

@luis.seneriz Like I said. I bought it for the wife. I would have bought a manual in a heartbeat if it was for me.

  • luis.seneriz (registered bidder) 2 years, 3 monthsago

So beautiful. An awesome color combo, unfortunately it’s missing a pedal, that’s a Nono for me.

  • Mikey8826 (seller) 2 years, 3 monthsago

@Autotrend I do not have the build or anything on the transmission. It runs and shifts great. The car was purchased from a collectors personal collection. He had it for about a year and half and decided to let it go. It was a gift to my wife and she did not like the way Porsche’s ride and drive. Especially her been spoiled with the new technology in today’s cars.

  • Mikey8826 (seller) 2 years, 3 monthsago

@Autotrend I bought the car this way and I do not have the OEM wheels.

  • Autotrend (registered bidder) 2 years, 3 monthsago

does the car have any rebuild history on the motor or transmission?

  • Autotrend (registered bidder) 2 years, 3 monthsago

does the car come with the original rims as well?
