Now available for auction is this 2003 Porsche 996 Turbo Coupe finished in Meridian Metallic. Factory equipped with the coveted X50 Turbo Power Kit, this 996 also came optioned with a premium Graphite Grey full leather interior including supple leather seats, a painted rear center console, Porsche crested headrests, aluminum instrument dials, and more. It was purchased by the current owner in 2007 at just over 14k miles and has been well maintained ever since with all scheduled service carried out through authorized Porsche dealers. Showing approximately 36k miles on the odometer, this 996 Turbo commanded an original sticker price of over $139k and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California accompanied by original accessories and well-documented history of service dating back to 2008.
This Turbo is finished in Meridian Metallic and features wide fenders with rear air intakes as well as model-specific bumpers and an automatic rear spoiler. A small chip is noted on the lower edge of the front hood, and a new front spoiler lip has been recently fitted in preparation for sale. CARFAX shows moderate damage to have occurred in 2018 which is said to have been purely cosmetic, resulting in the right front fender being replaced, painted, and blended into the hood. The right-side rear quarter panel was also professionally refinished for cosmetic purposes in 2012, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery. Exclusive stainless steel exhaust pipes are equipped from the factory along with 18” Turbo Twist wheels which have been recently refinished and mounted with new rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The rear-spoiler hydraulic system was also rebuilt in 2016 as a precautionary measure.
Inside, this Turbo features a Graphite Grey full leather interior with supple leather seats and Exclusive options including Porsche crested headrests, aluminum instrument dials, a painted rear center console, and a shifter and brake handle in leather/aluminum. The original radio has been retained and all gauges and accessories are reported to be fully functional except for the CD player.
This 996 is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six Mezger engine featuring the optional X50 Turbo Power Kit which adds revised tuning as well as larger turbochargers and intercoolers for an output of up to 444 HP. All four wheels are driven by way of a desirable 6-speed manual transmission allowing for a 0-60 time of approximately 4 seconds. A detailed maintenance log has been kept by the current owner dating back to 2008 showing routine service throughout the years including a clutch replacement in 2015 at 26,276 miles and a major 30k mile service in 2018. A fresh oil change and inspection were recently carried out along with the installation of new rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires and a front spoiler lip in preparation for sale. We did not do the initial write up but I take responsibility for proof reading it and I missed this.
I just looked at the wheels and to confirm they are not hollow spoke wheels.
I will contact Pcarmarket to correct this.
Your narrative lists the wheels as 18" hollow spoke but the options list on the frunk lid does not list option 410 which according to the list I have referenced is the "18" hollow spoke" option code. Just wanting to verify. Thanks, GLWA this is a beautiful X50 Turbo.

We do a very thorough PPI before we bring any Porsche in for consideration for sale and then do the repairs from the PPI to bring it up to current condition.

@hitecauto Are you a dealer or private seller? Is this consignment Sale? Or you a private seller who happened to own a car dealership as well. According to carfax, last sale was in 2007 but Seller is listed as Dealer. Or you as a dealer bought car but choose NOT to record ownership under your dealer name?
@FLCarNut The CD player can be repaired. Estimates for the repair were around $300.00.
Ironically it started to work intermitalty just as we were going live with the auction. We would have fixed it prior to the auction if it had showen up in the PPI.
@CarBidder Yes, the brakes are measuring 9mm in the front and 10mm in the rear. A 10mm measurement is new brakes.
Tires are measuring 6.5 mm in front and 10mm in rear. The rear tires are new and were just installed.
The coolant pipe fittings are original. Typically the fittings for 996 turbos are not as much of an issue as with GT3 fittings as GT3's see track time where extreme heat cycles affect the fittings more.
The vast majority of turbos do not see any track time including this one so usually the fittings are sound. If they do start to show signs of wear usually it is towards 100k miles or more.

What is condition of Brakes (how much life is left in millimeters) and what is thread count on Tires and when they were PUT on. When was Sparks Plug were last replaced (time and miles) and brake fluid was changed? Any leaks esp. Rear Main Seal Leak? When was Clutch replaced (time and miles)?
Did you do Pre Purchase inspection before listing it? If yes, do you mind sharing it.
What kind of Color is this? Is this champagne color?
There is an accident reported in CarFax history, what was damage and what was done to repair that damage?
