Originally used by the United States Marine Corps, this 2004 AM General Humvee is a heavy-duty M1123 variant equipped with a 6.5-liter diesel engine paired with a military-spec 4L80E 4-speed automatic transmission. It has reportedly undergone a no-expense-spared restoration along with modifications including an Ibis Tek infrared HID 360° infrared remote control spotlight night vision system, LED exterior lighting, a new air conditioning system, Sonotronics radio headsets, Rockwell Collins military GPS DAGAR navigation system, replica M16 rifles, 0.50 caliber ammo boxes, military-issue Scepter water cans, a DAGAR storage case, an insulated soft top, tank propellant charge canisters, and a host of other military-themed accessories and functional electronics. Showing approximately 200 miles on the odometer since the completion of its restoration, this Humvee is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
This Humvee has been refinished in its original matte olive green color and fitted with new military soft doors, a new insulated soft top, and upgraded LED lighting. Other additions include a new rear airlift bumper kit with Rhino swing-arm spare tire carrier winch setup, a Mile Marker upgraded front brush guard, a Deepwater engine intake snorkel, a water-fording exhaust pipe, a rear mudflap kit, a hood-mounted bridge plate, tank propellant charge canisters with tie-down straps, a DAGAR storage case, military-issue Scepter water cans with aluminum mounts and straps, and new 0.50 caliber ammo cans mounted on an aluminum strap cradle tie-down kit. It rides on new military 24-bolt battle rims with new military E-rated BF Goodrich Baja T/A tires. A matching spare wheel is included.
The green cloth interior has been completely redone and fitted with an insulation kit, a new Red Dot military air-conditioning system, and new military high-back seating with a new three-point seatbelt harness system. Other accessories include new tactical gear seat covers on the front seats, mounted replica M16 rifles, a new military first aid kit, a new Humvee jack and toolkit, a military-issue dash-mounted inclinometer, a military LED angle flashlight with color lenses on a mounted cradle, and a new military Pioneer toolkit on an underbody mount. The truck also features a custom suite of electronics including Ibis Tek infrared HID 360° infrared remote control spotlight night vision lighting system, a Military Systems Group adjustable infrared driving light, a complete Sincgars demilitarized military radio setup, Sonotronics radio headsets, Rockwell Collins military GPS DAGAR navigation system on a Panavice cradle mount, a military-issue Solargizer 24-volt solar battery charger, a new upgraded 200-amp military 24/12 V alternator kit, a built-in 110-volt AC 24-volt DC battery maintainer, and a 24V/12V interior accessory outlet on a Panavice mount.
Power is sent to all four wheels from a 6.5-liter V8 diesel engine paired with a military-spec 4L80E 4-speed automatic transmission. The Humvee features inboard disc brakes, torque-biasing Torsen front and rear differentials, a locking center differential, double-wishbone suspension, and portal gear hubs on all four wheels. The seller indicates that this truck has been mechanically restored and there are no outstanding service items at this time.
This sale will include a spare wheel and a clean title.

The Humvee presented here is like no other you're likely to ever see! The care and attention to detail in its restoration is beyond top notch! And it's just as nice of a driver as it is a show vehicle. Driving one of these beasts is an unforgettable experience and one that I highly recommend!
One thing I can say in relative confidence, is the chance of your neighbor having one just like it is very slim indeed!
So, if having an M1123 has always been on your wish list, you will not find another authentic example nicer than this one anywhere!
