We are pleased to present this 2004 Audi B6 S4 finished in Nogaro Blue. Representing the third generation of Audi’s S4 performance sedan, the B6 was the first to feature a V8 engine and came standard with Recaro sport seats, Nappa leather upholstery, and the Quattro permanent all-wheel-drive system. This S4 is one of only 143 Nogaro Blue examples produced for the 2004 model year specified with a two-tone interior and a 6-speed manual transmission. This S4 was also ordered with the Infotainment Package, Premium Package, Audi Navigation System, heated front seats, and a Comfort multi-function steering wheel. Acquired by the seller from its original owner earlier in 2021, this custom-ordered Audi S4 is now being offered for auction out of New York while showing approximately 13k miles on the odometer.
This Audi was ordered in the S4-exclusive shade of Nogaro Blue (LZ5M), the defining nonmetallic color of the legendary RS2 Avant. The S4 can be distinguished from a standard A4 by its revised front and rear fascias, polished aluminum mirror caps, side door sill extensions, trunk lid spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller describes the finish to have been preserved in excellent condition throughout, noting only a small touched-up scratch behind the passenger-side rear wheel. Detailed images and paint meter readings are provided in the gallery along with a clean one-owner CARFAX report. This S4 retains its original 18” Avus alloy wheels, which have recently been mounted with new Falken tires.
The interior of the S4 highlights front and rear Recaro sport seats trimmed in black Nappa leather with Nogaro Blue Alcantara suede inserts. S4-specific details include aluminum beltline trim, stainless door sills with S4 logos, and an S4-branded tachometer. Optional features include heated front seats, a Comfort multi-function steering wheel, and a Bose sound system equipped with the Infotainment Package. The optional Premium Package also adds a power glass sunroof, auto-dimming interior and exterior mirrors, memory function for the driver’s seat and side mirror, and automatic headlights. The seller mentions a new black headliner has been recently fitted and confirms all gauges and accessories to be working properly.
The S4 features an all-aluminum 4.2L V8 which was factory rated at 340 HP and 302 lb.-ft of torque. Power is delivered to all four wheels via a 6-speed Getrag manual transmission and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system. The S4 received many upgrades from a standard A4 including larger brakes, and a retuned suspension consisting of revised springs, dampers, bushings, anti-roll bars, and a lower ride height. Recent service includes an oil and filter change, new tires mounted and balanced, and a four-wheel alignment.
This sale will include the original owner's manuals and associated literature, a copy of the window sticker, and a clean title. One of the most sought-after Audi's on the road presented in its most iconic color combination, this rare and beautifully preserved 6-speed S4 makes an excellent investment as well as a fine addition to any enthusiast's collection.

I agree on the maintenance records. This needs several maintence items due to age. Any dealer could provide history.

@Acar expected maintenance is as follows: the car should have EVERY manufacturer/dealer recommended service regardless of miles. Dealers do their maintenance after X amount of time instead of X amount of miles on cars with low low miles for their age. It would have been nice to see that 5k, 15k, 25k, 35k, 45k, 55k, etc. service intervals were performed (which all call for individual lists of things to be serviced) either on the carfax or via dealer documents. If you don’t know this then you don’t know cars or what people are looking for. The lack of them is what holds a good amount of buyers back like myself and the other gentleman.
Also- maybe work on your grammar before hurdling insults at people at the internet.

@CorradoVRsix what do you expect maintenanace for a 13k miles car? Beside oil change? I guess you cant afford to buy this car before and maybe this time too.

@MrCorey I inquired about this car from the seller back in August as well. I expect the reserve to be at least $30k which is what he told me he sold it for after refusing to negotiate with me.
I think the only thing that might hold this one back is the serious lack of maintenance history. A couple of oil and filter changes and one brake flush doesn’t quite cut it to verify that this one has been taken care of accordingly. Should be at least once a year regardless of miles.
OP- any info on why at all an accident may have presented itself on the carfax? And what was the process for correction to the record?
Super great example of a Audi B6 S4. Definetely a unicorn, low miles, best color combo, naturally aspirated V8, one owner... Rare find here, sure to set a new record.. 50k+

Looks like the selling dealer got the carfax cleaned up from when I ran in back in August. Cars a beautiful example as I already own a noggy b6 and a b7 s4 already. Should set a new record for a B6 in recent years.

Ran a carfax - one owner, no accidents listed using the VIN in pic #76. Same data as in the posted CarFax.

This car was never been in accident. All the paint are original even the bumper . Please refer to the paint meter reading.
There is a small scratch on lower rear pass fender, and has been touch up, picture show.
Strange the car fax isn’t showing the accident this car was in. I test drove this car back in August and passed on it because it didn’t have carfax report.
