The second-generation Ford Lighting was introduced for the 1999 model year and was developed by Ford’s Sspecial Vehicle Team (SVT) using the PN96 platform. Having held the title of “World's Fastest Production Truck” during its five-year production run, the Lighting was offered only with a single cab, rear-wheel drive, a 6½' bed, 4-speed automatic transmission, and a supercharged 5.4L Triton V8. Finished in Shadow Grey over a grey suede and black leather interior, this 2004 example is accompanied by an SVT certificate identifying it as #511 of 3,781 trucks produced. This Ford F-150 Lightning is now being offered by its seller out of Michigan while showing approximately 19k miles on the odometer.

Full seat covers and a full dash cover are included in the sale and the seller reports all gauges and accessories to be functioning properly.
Power comes from a 5.4L Triton SOHC V8 equipped with an Eaton M112 supercharger, forged crankshaft and rods, and lower compression pistons, producing up to 380 HP and 450 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 4-speed Ford 4R100 overdrive automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. With this powertrain, the Lighting is capable of accelerating from 0-60 MPH in approximately six seconds to a top speed of 140 MPH. To improve handling, the Lightning came lowered from the factory and fitted with Monroe shocks and stiffer sway bars. An upgraded pulley on the supercharger is a noted modification and the seller also states that a microtuner is included in the sale along with service records.
The sale will include a clean title, owner's manuals, spare tire, window sticker, sales literature, and an SVT certificate.
