Featuring a specially tuned 750-horsepower 6.3L SV12 Biturbo engine, this U.S. market 2004 Mercedes-Benz SL600 underwent a comprehensive transformation by Brabus GmbH in Bottrop, Germany, in March 2010, earning the extremely limited SV12 R designation. Brabus-specific enhancements include an R230 mid-cycle facelift with bespoke aerodynamic components, exclusive leather upholstery, carbon fiber interior trim, high-flow catalytic converters, a stainless steel sport exhaust system, a differential lock, high-performance brakes, advanced technical upgrades, and several additional optimized features. Fitted with 20” Brabus Monoblock VI two-piece wheels, this example is finished in Amber Red Metallic over custom black fine leather upholstery with red stitching. Showing approximately 53k kilometers or 33k miles on the odometer, this exceptionally rare Brabus-tuned SL600 is now available for auction by its seller out of Lebanon accompanied by a Brabus Manufacturer’s Certificate and a collection of documentation.
Refinished at the Brabus facility in its rare factory-specified shade of Amber Red Metallic (548U), this SL600 showcases bespoke Brabus styling upgrades including a custom front bumper with integrated LED fog lights, side skirts, side air strakes, a rear spoiler, and a rear bumper featuring an integrated F1-style brake light and quad exhaust outlets. The bonnet, headlight, and mirror cover designs were also upgraded to reflect the appearance of the 2009 model. Additional exterior details include Brabus logos and an illuminated rear emblem. A set of 20” Brabus Monoblock VI two-piece wheels have also been fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires from 2023, driven fewer than 200 kilometers (124 miles). A detailed collection of images is provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the cabin has been reupholstered with Brabus fine leather accented by red contrast stitching. Unique Brabus appointments include extensive carbon fiber trim, a black Alcantara headliner with red stitching, custom floor mats, logo-illuminated door sills, illuminated puddle lights, and a 360-km/h Brabus speedometer. Additionally, the odometer was converted to kilometers by Brabus. The car is equipped with an R230 facelift-specific steering wheel with an airbag, while the updated seats incorporate the Airscarf system for enhanced comfort. Additional features include a premium multimedia system with Harman Kardon audio, an upgraded center stack, and a modern Comand system with navigation.
The Biturbo V12 engine has been meticulously re-engineered by Brabus, featuring a custom crankshaft, larger-diameter pistons, and precision-balanced piston rods, increasing displacement to 6.3 liters. Enhanced with enlarged turbochargers, a larger intercooler, and a proprietary Brabus ECU, the engine delivers up to 750 HP to the rear wheels via a 5-speed 5G-Tronic automatic transmission. Supporting the formidable powertrain are custom high-flow catalytic converters, a stainless steel sport-tuned exhaust, a differential lock, sport-tuned suspension, and a Brabus Version III high-performance braking system. The seller notes that Mercedes-Benz dealer services were completed in 2016 and 2018, with a specialized service carried out by a private mechanic in 2024. A comprehensive collection of service records and documentation accompanies the sale, with detailed images provided in the gallery. Additionally, the vehicle is reported to have been exclusively serviced by Mercedes-Benz dealers in Lebanon from 2010 to 2018, although documentation is only available for the 2016 and 2018 services.
This sale will include a Lebanon registration, a Brabus Manufacturer’s Certificate, a host of documentation, a toolkit, a spare tire, a car cover, and a new silver-finished front grille.
The seller would like you to know: “This is a mega rare 1 of 5 approved by BRABUS with a certificate with all specs. One of these are owned by Prince of Qatar! Be sure this car had ton of money spent on total 350K USD back then! The Amber Red is only 0.2% produced on SL R230. This gets more special when they know it's quicker than SL65 Black Series!”
