Now available for auction is this 2004 Porsche 996 Turbo Cabriolet finished in Black over a black full leather interior with Custom Tailoring. In addition to its legendary 3.6L twin-turbocharged Mezger engine, this 2004 example also comes factory equipped with a desirable 6-speed manual transmission, Exclusive interior details, and the X50 Turbo Power Kit which provides for an output of up to 444 HP. This Turbo has also been modified with a GT2 style front bumper, carbon fiber rear wing, and aftermarket wheels as well as an upgraded exhaust and charge pipe. Having commanded an original sticker price of over $151k, this Turbo Cabriolet is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California with approximately 52k miles showing on the odometer.
This 996 is finished in nonmetallic Black and features a GT2-style front bumper, carbon fiber rear wing, flared rocker panels, and a painted carbon fiber hood. Some road-going chips are noted on the front valence and detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. This Turbo rides on aftermarket 19” MCK Engineering wheels currently dressed in Pirelli P-Zero tires.
Inside, this 996 has been appointed with a black full leather interior featuring custom leather seats with Alcantara centers, deviated stitching, and Turbo headrest embroideries. Factory Exclusive options include stainless steel door entry guards with model logos, aluminum-look air vent slats and instrument dials, and a shifter and handbrake lever in leather/aluminum. Aftermarket Rennline pedals have been added along with a touchscreen Pioneer double-din head unit. Some signs of wear are noted throughout the cabin, and all gauges and accessories are reported to be fully functional including the power cabriolet top. The original Porsche wind deflector will be included in the sale as well.
The coveted 3.6L twin-turbocharged flat-six Mezger engine benefits from the optional X50 Power Kit which adds revised tuning as well as larger turbochargers and intercoolers for an output of up to 444 HP. All four wheels are driven by way of a desirable 6-speed manual transmission allowing for a 0-60 time of approximately 4 seconds. This example has also been modified with an upgraded charge pipe, carbon fiber airbox, and an aftermarket performance exhaust system. All available maintenance history is provided on CARFAX including the last documented service in January of 2021 at 52,169 miles which included an oil and filter change as well as a new camshaft position sensor.

@Bcford28 you can have a ppi done at a local shop of your choice. No modification to the engine other than h aftermarket Y-pipe and intake, AWE inlet/outlet pipes. The exhaust is by M&M GmbH with headers and Cats.
@Skindoc there is no sign of leaking but I’m scheduled for an alignment this week, I’ll have my mechanic check it out.
