This 2004 Porsche 996 Turbo Cabriolet comes finished in Lapis Blue Metallic over a Savanna Beige full leather interior featuring optional deviated carpets, aluminum trim, and a painted center console. It features a 6-speed manual transmission and a 3.6-liter Mezger engine with upgraded Garrett turbos, GT2 intercoolers, a performance tune, and more. Cared for by its current owner since July of 2021, this 996 Turbo is now being offered for auction out of Florida showing just over 80k miles on the odometer.

The exterior is finished in Lapis Blue Metallic with a Metropol Blue cabriolet top, optional stainless steel exhaust tips, and black-painted 18” 911 Turbo wheels. The seller notes a few small chips have been touched up on the hood, and a ceramic coating was applied to the exterior shortly after their purchase last year. It rides on a set of Michelin tires dated from 2013 in front and 2016/2020 in the rear. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing damage to the left front end in 2006.

The cabin is appointed with Savanna Beige leather, optional deviated carpeting, a painted rear center console, and aluminum inlays for the shifter and brake handle.  Other options include metal door sill guards with Turbo insignias and heated front seats with Porsche crested headrests. An aftermarket Pioneer head unit has been paired with the factory Bose sound system. The seller notes an error light appears intermittently for the rear spoiler, although the spoiler appears to be working properly at this time.

The 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine has been upgraded with Garrett G28 turbochargers as well as GT2 intercoolers, performance diverter valves, and a performance tune for 1.3-bar of boost. All four wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission with a short-shift kit and upgraded SSF Performance clutch. The car has also been lowered to European ride height with upgraded Bilstein shocks and springs. The CARFAX report shows 28 maintenance history records including the most recent service in March 2022.

This sale will include a clean title.

@pellar the turning was done by the previous owners I don’t know when it was done I just know it was done when I bought it. I was told at the time it was a X-50.

@DaveLHolt The description says that they are PCCB, and the brakes themselves look like Carbon Ceramics as opposed to Steel brakes. They have the micro cracks typical to CCB as well.

The window sticker posted showed ceramic brakes, so we’re they replaced with steel? Have the coolest pipes been welded or pinned? Was this ordered as a turbo S or just the badge put on the back? Thanks.

@Falcon01 These are not ceramic brakes but I had the car in about four weeks ago for a full service and I was told that there was no issues with the brakes.

  • Falcon01 (registered bidder) 1 year, 7 monthsago

How is the life on the brakes/when were the brakes last done? These are PCCB, so they'll cost $15-20k to replace....

Thanks for answering. Sure I would pay your ticket back to Florida. I picked my 03 tt coupe in California and I drove it 1698 miles Home, fun, fun, fun. I just hit 140 in mine going to get lunch at carrabas.

  • DaveLHolt (seller) 1 year, 7 monthsago

@luis.seneriz main reason I’m selling is my girlfriend just blew her transmission out of her 2013 911 Caberet and it’s gonna cost me $30,000 plus. What’s leftover going towards paying off my 2019 Panamera sport Turismo 4S. And as far as driving it to Texas I’ll be happy to do that for you just pay my ticket on the way back. Extremely fun car to drive. There are no issues with his car right now.

Don’t know where the seller is at? Anyway this car will definitely not pass California’s, Here in Te as as long as there are not check engine lights it’ll pass. My 99 coupe passes running Fabspeed x pipes with no cats. My mechanic and my friends told me what would be a good price for this car so , do to unknowns my number is not that high at all.

Seller and I do own an 03 coupe, why are you selling so soon? Anyway this is the color that I wanted , just couldn’t find one at a reasonable price. Any reasons why I wouldn’t be able to fly I drive it to Texas if I was the winner?? Thanks
