This two-owner example is now being offered for auction in exceptional condition, showing approximately 21k miles on the odometer by a dealer in Ohio.
This 996 makes a statement in its factory Speed Yellow finish. Records and paint meter readings can confirm that this Turbo is accident-free while retaining fully original paint. The seller states that the exterior of this vehicle remains in pristine condition, showing to be free of any unsightly flaws or imperfections. This car is reportedly bone stock with the exception of period correct BBS 3-piece alloy wheels. A recent service included the replacement of a faulty hydraulic rear wing system with E-ram wing actuators for a virtually permanent fix. Furthermore, the Mezger engine doesn’t suffer from IMS bearing related issues as its oil system ensures constant lubrication. This 996’s 3.6L twin-turbocharged Mezger engine delivers 420HP to all four wheels via a crisp 6-speed manual transmission, allowing for a 0-60 time of just 4.2 seconds. A full service was recently performed at Steinel's Autowerks, which included the replacement of the clutch accumulator along with an oil/filter change.
